Hi ! Thx for making this mod but somehow it don't get along with your other mod (jet pack for all profiles) they both work perfectly alone but when they are both applied only the last installed can work. If i install at first the jet pack mod and then the tech armour mod i'll get tech armour on every profile but the jet pack mod won't change anything.
Both mods change the same files so they aren't compatible sadly. You can use both mods together if you change individual profiles (for example Jetpack for Adept and Tech Armour for Vanguard) but if you try to use both mods on the same profile then the last installed mod will overwrite the first one.
Though, you can modify the project files in frosty to make the two-in-one. It's easier to use the "tech armor for all" project files and then edit the profiles to use jetpack evade, biotic blink, or biotic evade, and or the two different jump styles. You can also add the different profile perks to other profiles. If anyone is interested in knowing how, I can explain further on how to do it. It's pretty simple once you learn the basic mechanics of frosty. I learned most easily by comparing the edited files of different project files for different mods and then incorporating the two into one. Again, all my thanks go out to all the great modders out there who are creating and also willing to share the methods. Such a great community!
I'm working on Priority Earth Overhaul Mod for Mass Effect 3 now, under a different account (Audemus) so I don't really check this account anymore. If you've figured out how to do it then by all means upload it. I'm totally happy for you to use/recreate/combine/reupload my mods as long as you do something new with them.
Is it possible to use this alongside mods such as Profiles remade? https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/456?tab=posts
My common sense says they would conflict however in game it shows both edits but in combat no armor appears. Basicly I am wondering if this could be just a visual bug and the armor works, or it doesn't.
My gut says they won't be compatible with any other mod that alters profiles but you can try. I doubt running them together would crash the game, probably just overwrites one of the mods.
That's great, thankyou, I'll d/l and endorse later when I can. One more question is it purely visual or does it "protect" as it does for the profiles that have it as default?.
Apologies. I missed this reply. I can see you've downloaded it already but I figured I'd answer in case someone else had the same question. It's not purely visual and will protect the player.
Hey. Happy new year! This is a cool mod and a cool idea. It would also be great if you shared your project file so we could retrace your steps. It would help me a lot because I am sill learning to mod MEA. :)
