    Thanks for this mod, the biotic jump really bothered me!

    I'm playing as an explorer and wanted to have the jetpack jump but keep their unique teleport dash through solid objects (I saw one other person ask the same thing here).

    Thank you for uploading your project file, as it has allowed me to create a mod that does just that. As you're no longer working on this mod, I've shared my tweak on the nexus in case other people want this too.

    Any chance you could make this compatible with Hyper Mobility? When combined with that mod I can't evade with the affected profiles (jumping works correctly though - jetpack with increased jump height).

    I really enjoy your mod since I HATE the biotic jump and evade, they sound like farts and ping pong balls to me. But it's hard to go back to normal jump height after playing with Hyper Mobility.

      It's been a long time since I made this mod and I haven't really used Frosty Since, so I'm very rusty on this. However, I feel confident saying that the incompatibility lies with the edits made to jumpinputreaderstatuseffect.ebx - If I knew what changes Hyper-Mobily made to this status effect then I could whip up a compatible version with no trouble. But sadly I'm not sure. I've just uploaded my own project file so you can take a look yourself. If you look at jumpinputreaderstatuseffect in Frosty Editor and try to find the jump velocity data, you might be able to make the tweaks yourself. Sorry I can't help further - best of luck to you.

      Thank you for the info. I can understand that you've moved on by now. I don't really know where to start with Frosty, I guess I'll "read the fucking manual" when I have time :D

      In the mean time I'll stick with Engineer/Sentinel. Because screw those wet farts and ping pongs (who the hell designed those sound effects??)

      I posted on another of quacky77's mod pages. I figured out how to incorporate a couple of quacks' mods into one. Though I am not using the hypermobility mod with it. Just shitty infinite jump by watafuzz. That mod is just fine with me and does not conflict with the other edits you're talking about.     is the reverse possible? Adding biotic jump and dash(not blink), to say sentinel?

      It should be, yes. I remember encountering some weird funky issues with the biotic jump status effect but that was in relation to the explorer profile. I don't see any reason why that wouldn't be possible.

    Does this replace blink with dodge, or just the visual effect?

    I mean, will blink act like it always did, the pass through walls, but with a jet-pack?

      No, blink is replaced completely with the jetpack. If you want to keep blink for the Explorer profile, you'll need to download all the individual profile files except for the Explorer one.

      So, it's impossible to separate jump and evade? As in, you can't have jet-pack jump and biotic blink in the same profile; only jet-pack jump and Jet-pack evade or biotic jump and biotic evade? Sorry I know this question comes late and you probably answered it already but, if it's all the same, I'd like some clarification to be sure.

      You can actually, or at least, I'm fairly sure. I did a lot of experimenting when making this mod and I know for a fact that you can seperate jump and evade. However, there were some issues with the biotic blink that prevented me from doing this. For other profiles, such as Vanguard, I was able to modify the jump without changing the evade, so you ended up with a jet-pack jump and an evade. However, any time I tried to do it in reverse (so biotic jump with jetpack evade), the game would crash. I explained this in another comment to Pantherr in a little more detail, but I don't fully understand it myself or I would've fixed it.

      Since I had no personal interest in retaining the biotic blink, I didn't persue it. There's so many different configurations possible that I hoped that allowing you do change each profile individually would be enough. But if you want to you can always download the project file and take a look yourself.

    Cool mod ,should be fun to use.

    Though there was one part in the game were a jetpack mod gets in the way.

    Can't remember exactly ,think it was near the end ,a battle indoors in which you were constantly using barriers to hide behind and also jumping over.

      A reverse version? So replace the jetpack with biotics for all classes? There's a biotic blink for all classes mod that already exists that might be what you're looking for.

      I would also like a "reverse" of your mod. However I prefer the "normal" biotic jump and evade to the biotic blink. Plus the mod you mentioned states that there are bugs, if memory serves..

      So IS there any chance you would do one with Biotic jump & evade for other profiles?

      That's actually really hard to do. The problem is that the default evade system (jetpack) is built into the default status effect, with the jump existing as part of the timeline effects. This means that in the editor for soldier you only get 1) The profile status effect 2) The default evade. For Adept you get the same, but a third timeline effect for the biotic jump. I don't know how to add this third effect to non-biotic profiles that doesn't crash the game unfortunately. I'm able to add the biotic dash to profiles like soldier/sentinel/engineer but I can't do anything to the jetpack jump right now.

    Is there, by any chance, a way to have the Sentinel Tech armor to be applied to the other profiles aswell?

      It should be, yes, but because the tech armour is built into the default sentinel status effect it could potentially cause problems. I'll have a look into it when I get the time.
