Did you figure out how to make your own version? I just want enough skill points to max everything while using MP powers for SP. But I'd prefer not to have a bunch of extra points. I've looked at the file this modifies from Mod Manager and tried to look at that file in the Editor, but I really can't make heads or tails of anything in the Editor. If you could help at all that would be great? Thanks in advance.
Sorry, it was a while ago, but i remember all the stuff should be labeled properly in frosty. Try watching a tutorial for frosty editor? It will be easier if you know the file structure
Hello I don`t know what I´m doing wrong. But it seams none of the Mods is working for me. I´m using Frosty Version 1.0.0.6.1 and Version 1.10 of MEA. Frosty runs in Admin Mode and I´m starting every time with frosty. I use the EA Version with the new EA Launcher.
Not working for some reason. Tried versions C and D. Ran FMM as administrator, installed the mod, applied it, launched the game via FMM. Sad. UPD: Turns out none of the mods worked, Frosty fix solved the issue.
Just trying to confirm; is this mod working for someone? I'm having issues, but Im unsure if its mod loader related or this mod (and a few others that Ive tried)
Owned on steam, launched (after applying it) via Frosty's mod manager, This is the only mod. No effect in game at level 2 (which per the mod descrip should be 20+ skillpoints, but I only get the vanilla 3.)
I understand that Frosty's fix 'used' to be required for non-origin owned platforms, but this is no longer the case from what I can tell. (FMM autodetects my steam install)
I did try frosty'sfix anyway but it had a variety of issues (Game didn't fully start, hung at Origin's main window, and if i manually started MEA from there the mod definitely didn't load, OR, FrostyFix would throw an error about some sort of parameter failing to load.)
Fix found at https://www.reddit.com/r/MassEffectAndromeda/comments/oews2y/frosty_mod_manager_not_working_for_mass_effect/h48vpho/ TLDR: Run Frosty's Mod Manager as Administrator.
is this mod necessary? I found that I max every tree at level cap which I believe was 132, also you got extra skill points from a few of the puzzle remnant challenges I'm pretty sure. I guess if you're looking to be maxed out on first playthrough ok but that kind of takes some of the fun out if there's nothing to be gained from additional playthroughs. the early game on first playthrough is the worst part of the game when you have limited everything and cds are long and stats are low, so you get the clunkiest combat, but once you've got multiple trees and skills maxed plus the shift profile without triggering cds mod, and you have very smooth combat. that early game though was what made it worth getting to the late game when you have your core skills learned, and passives growing from excess skill points dumped into skills you aren't using.
I just don't like playing new game plus in general. For me starting a game with lots of skills, money and equipment takes some fun out of additional playthroughs. So yes, the point is to have more skill points available in a single playthrough.
For some reason it's like my mod temporarily deactivates (I assume) because some of my skill points unassign themselves. Any idea what could be the cause?

it seems to work. maybe its just the newer way frosty handles things, but a reference would be nice
