this mod is great until you fall in the water in the vault on elaadin(which then doesn't kill you) and you get stuck, and the damn game autosaves right after you fall in...
(necro-post for the win) Does what it says on the tin. The blue barrier is still there, but you no longer get booted back to the other side. If only someone would come up with a mod to remove the visual for the barrier altogether.
Thanks, this finally helped me get the hang time achievement on PC. When you can go West of the boundary from the upper left forward station on H-047c and follow the trench that turns south beside the western most mining zones, you will see that is the longest trench on the planet. You can launch off a high peak a bit north of the northern end of the trench and you will be able clear the edge of the trench without hitting the ground. From there just keep using the hover jets to keep yourself in the air, maybe with a bit of thrust if your angle is going to carry you into a wall. I managed 36 seconds. If you screw up just fast-travel back to the forward station rather than reload the game, as the saves while inside the Nomad take forever to load.
I've been hoping to find an easter egg of some sort beyond the boundaries ,maybe Micky Mouse sitting on a deck chair sunbathing or something
I noticed something on the Asari Ark just before you go through the doors to the deck that was held together by the mass effect field device. There's a large curved window to your right and if you have the mod installed that lets you jump higher you can jump through the glass . There's an invisible hole above your head just near the door you're about to go through at the top of the curved glass. So you can jump up and through and then walk around on the deck outside. I went all the way along the length of the ark ,the textures were being drawn in front as i walked ,so you have to be careful you don't fall through ,though it might just have been my pc struggling to cope.
It looks like it was purposely built to walk on. It made me think they had plans to have a battle on the outside but never went through with it. You can see what look like spaces for lift (elevator) doors and stuff like that(probably just me imagining stuff).
