I could be wrong because I'm new to this game but I assumed the blue initiative colors were worn by those who go into combat (or insinuated they would). Red was for special operations like medics, bridge crew, and behind the scenes characters etc.
It's made sense to me that way. I actually really like the red color on some of the characters. If there are inconsistencies to my assumption I guess I haven't played enough to notice.
Is any of those changing Scott and Sara's pants ? I have a mod that changes Sara's pants, but it fucked up Scott and Liam's too, and I think this one here is the only textures pack I have for those pants. I'm trying to locate which files it could be, to see what I'm care more about x) I was guess guess the Pathfinder, since it's the most logical one, but I've tried removing it and it's still fucked up.
Possibly. But it should be much of a problem. I'm sure the MEA Fixpack fixes a bug in a character, that I've just edited to match my standard outfit for that group.
Amazing job!! It must have been time consuming but the finished product is great! Thank you so much for the hard work that you put into doing this! I never understood the mismatched colors all over the place, but then again there are lots of choices Bioware made for MEA that I don't understand. You sir, have greatly contributed to making my playthrough better.
Question though, I can't really tell in your Lexi pictures but in her alternate pattern are the pants blue and the boots gray with white details? They are both showing up as solid blue for me in game and its a little much. I love the look with white or gray boots though!
Also for anyone like me who isn't a fan of the 'painted on abs' look that Gil sports you should check out the No Grid Gil mod. It goes beautifully with this one!! https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/235
Quick request- Since there are like 9 files for all of the random npcs is there any chance of you making them into a bundle?? I would REALLY appreciate it!!
If you download either of my Medical or Scientist mods they change the way the outfit is tinted, which I guess is why the shoes become solid blue as the pants. Becaise there is no way to merge mods, I would have to redo all of the edits to make a mod that contains all of the seperate mods, so I'm not gonna do that. I can upload my project files and somebody else can do it if they want.
I'm currently working on my finale Cora remake, which the hair recolors I recently posted was a side project of. Once I've finished that, I'll start on the retints of the people in Nexus Operations. I don't have a lot of free time to work on the mods, so I won't make any promises, but I'm hoping to finish up the Cora remake on Thursday.
I've got a lot of people done, but some of the NPCs are a bit elusive. I've got a bunch of presets to go through yet, so I'm sure I'll find them. I might have some time to look at it this weekend.
There is this one Asari next to the security camera monitor which I can't seem to find in the editor. My wife is out of town on saturday, so I might have some time while my son naps. If I do I'll upload my bundle with the rest of the operations personnel and move onto the specific job groups.
Not quite. I'm gonna do a Cryowakeup outfit pack, and a "Pathfinder" pack with Alec, the sibling, the Pathfinder Armor and a few other NPC's. I'll also update the Bridge Crew pack with Captain Dunn, because I don't know where else to put her, and then lastly I'll try to see if I can do a retexture of Vetra's outfit. That might take a while though, as retexturing is not my strong suite.
I usually use pathfinder chestplates myself, but the tinting inteface is terrible, so the idea is that by changing the default tinting I can bypass the tinting interface and have my rydet wear Initiative colors. Since you can set the armor tinting to be based on your chestplate I might only retint the chestplates.
Apparently changing the default tinting on the chestplates has no effect on armor tinting, when you choose to set the tinting by the chestplate, so I'm not going to be retint the pathfinder armor anyways. For some reason I also can't get the Cryo-wakeup outfits to retint, so those will also be left as is. But that also means that I'm done with my Initiative Colors retints.
I don't know how helpful this information is but I came across another mod similar to yours but with a different color scheme and one of the changes he made was turning the default short sleeve outfit that you wake up from cryo in to black from white and adjusted the AI logo tint to red from blue. https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/314 I'm not sure if the author, JDIM89, is still active and available to help or not though. Short of that, my best guess is that based off anytime I upload a mod that changes Ryders 'short sleeve casual wear' it is what I end up wearing during the prologue I would guess that just adjusting the default colors of that outfit would give you the results your looking for, though you may have tried that already. I hope this helps! Best of luck with your mods and thank you again for the work you put into them!
Hello EbenHawke first thanks for this mod, give more colors for NPC, but unfortunately as no pictures as shown it is hard to compare and be able to choose properly as you did with the tempest's crew. Whenever you will have the time, do you think it ll be possible for you, to add pictures of all your work?
I might someday, but not in the foreseeable future. I already feel like I've spent way more time on this mod than what I had expected to use, and I know how long it to me to make the screenshots of the tempest crew.

Amazing mod btw, absolutely love it !
EDIT: And with MEA Fixpack.
