Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately their is a lack of enthusiasm in this community atm and It's very difficult for me right now to go and make changes or variations of mods. If things pick up i'll be happy to put some more time in but for now i'm working on other projects.

That was the original intended mod I wanted to make however I encountered complications and their isn't much support right now to help modders figure things out. To put it simply I had no FAKIN CLUE! what I was doing lol.
Now I use Photoshop to modify the diffuse textures so I can't really troubleshoot your issues with GIMP, really sorry I can't help your more mate, all the best.
Well as I mentioned in the description this is a personal mod I made for myself. I don't really have helmets on all the time so I never bothered to do it since it's extra work, however. Since it's now an actual mod on the nexus I will make the effort to add it in, thanks for bringing it up!
