I recommend downloading the latest version (1.02) if you have previously downloaded this mod. It fixes an important issue that has been plaguing the mod since release. Sorry for any trouble it caused!
Currently playing on version 1.10, I tried out this mod and I got some interesting results, on Voeld, Havarl, H047c, and Elaaden the mod works great, but on Eos, and Kadara the weapon refuses to fire like the others said.
A workaround I found that works for me is that I travel to a planet where the cyclone works like voeld for example, then travel back to eos or kadara then the weapon would work as the mod intended, but a side effect of that is that if you die or reload a save you have to go through the process again. Its alittle troublesome but i dont mind doing it (Since im primarily using it on my current playthrough).
All in all im really liking this mod, thanks for this.
Rofl, I see what you did there. But yeah Andromeda really gutted the Assault rifle IMO. The Cyclone is one of the worst , the gun is out classed by the Avenger for Christ sake. The wind up on the Cyclone is pointless it has nothing going for it that justifies the "pre heating" lol
I mean honestly they should have left the weapon system from ME 2-3 alone, being able to use what ever gun you wanted with no clear winners was the best choice for the series. In this game the only two gun you should ever use are the dhan and the phirrana with biotic converters, especially on Insane.

I tried fixing the poor balancing of the guns in my other mod. It's still a work in progress but it works really well.
