Hey there mate, love the mo; is it possible to make it so the helmet is always black? I use the helmet on different armor sets and it just looks odd with colors. Thank you for your time.
Is modding the visor colour with frostytools difficult, I dislike the Deep Space Explorer blue tint visor and would like to use a tint similar to what you have.
I have no experience using Frosty tools, only basic modding Bethesda game.
Edit: Nevermind, I'm can't do photoshop and textures.
Thanks a lot. I really appreciate that. It's better than what it was, I much prefer it and I didn't want to play with helmets off and want that XP+10% for now.
Something is up with the helmet visor itself though. It doesn't behave like the visor that the Initiative helmet has. It does something weird to the eyes (regardless of tint) and makes them glow - a "Quarian effect".

The eyes aren't glowing. What I'm seeing there is that the female eye makeup is showing through the visor. I play with default Scott, who has no eye makeup, so I didn't see that when I looked at the helmets. Did you see the same problem with the Heleus armor? Both of these helms seem to have a sort of frosty effect on the visor, which is what is interfering with the eye makeup. The Initiative helmet doesn't have this effect, so it's not a problem. I don't know what's causing it. I'd prefer it to not have that frosty effect, myself, even though I play as default Scott, so I'll look into it.
If you ever solve it, maybe release it as it's own mod so it gets some exposure. I'm sure others would probably want it and it's kind of hidden as an optional file here.
Any chance you could do a file with light blue glow color similar to a Heleus mod that has a black visor but instead use your neutral visor? thank you.
I know about that one, which is why I decided to do mine since they posted instructions in one of the comments. It would be easier to ask the light person to change theirs, since I don't know what blues were used and such, and there are more files altered.
All I did was alter the Visor Color in the ebx to X,Y,Z 0.3450980.
This is good, but if anything, someone needs to remove that ugly oil like shine on the armour. Unless you have it in all black, you can see it, and it looks awful.

This isn't a texture mod and only involves changing the tint color in the code. It's a very simple edit.
