Hello can you please show me how to install this mod i don't understand how too i thought i could just install it using the mod manager but now my game won't run at all even without the mod manager i originally loaded up a whole bunch of mods at once. I thought this was going to work properly, extremely frustrating what did i do wrong? How am i suppose to use the tools suite and the mod manager together? There isn't a good enough guide. I also originally put in a reshade too.
It's quite simple actually, download the Frosty Mod Manager, download this file, extract the two files into a folder, and when you run the Mod Manager it should ask you for Andromeda exe location. You find your game exe, and after you're good to go. Click on the install mod button, point it to the mod you extracted and it should add itself to the list. Double click on it and it should add itself to the "Applied mods" column. Click on Launch and it should launch the game. For the mods to work you HAVE to launch it through the Frosty Mod Manager.
Hello thank you very much i will attempt this again after the game finishes reinstalling the download and after i make a back up copy. I was trying to install and run a whole bunch of mods with one of the reshades from this website too and the game wouldn't want to run at all.
Okay this is such a strange game for me, it is so weird this is the only game i know of with always the newest drivers i can't overclock my gtx 970 with this! It crashes to the desktop every time after about an hour, then i have to restart my machine. Above all even after i redownload the game onto a different ssd i have, it will not run with mods at all!! This is such a ridiculous game i'll have to try it out on my alienware m18xr2 with gtx 780 sli. My desktop is amd fx 8350. This is the only game i've seen that won't allow me to mod.
Hello yes i do run it through the frosty mod manager it won't run every single time. I tried again it only run's in the background the game i double click it in the task manager and it won't run for me. I originally had it installed on my C drive didn't work change it to my solid state drive now the same result it is very very strange such a weird game. Reshade works for me before.
Hello everyone, sadly it just won't with the mods and it did run without the mod manager one time and now not at all this is extremely frustrating this the first game i've ever tried that has had an issue with modding i really don't understand it so for another time i have to download it again and i will try it out on my gaming laptop i will see how that goes.
Hiya, I don't know if you've already resolved this issue but I had similar problems for some time. Did you by any chance use the old MEA modding stuff? Because when I switched from that over to Frosty and just tried the recovery tool, it wouldn't start for me, too. Only repairing the game didn't work either if I remember correctly I had to redownload it. Then I also had problems starting the game at all with outdated mods. I've never had the game crash on me because of bad mods but I did have it refuse to start a few times. Try starting it over Frosty with one or two mods that DEFINITELY work with the current patch. And work your way through your mods from there.
