*As of 15 November 2019 I tested everything and all works fine with 1.0.5.7 Frosty Mod Manager even if it says "(WARNING: Mod was designed for a different patch version)" . I made all mods for latest Mass Effect Andromeda patch so no idea why in some files it says that and not in others so no problem with all the files here either, happy modding .*
Edited HR Default Scott's texture with and without stubble
· Texture Scaled to 2048x2048 · Better complexion · Original brows · Red tones from original · Better lips and toned down · Makes Preset expression wrinkles less pronounced · Fixed Normal Map, no more eyebrow shadow mismatch · Two versions: Rough and Smooth skin
*I reuploaded Default Scott's texture skin with STUBBLE for COMPLEXION 1 Smooth Skin because it was the rough version and not the smooth, same with the rough version, my apologies..
Would it be possible to port the Default skin with stubble smooth to complexion 10? Quite a few of the npcs tend to use complexion 0 and its weird running into them with the same face and I don't think any npcs use complexion 10 since it was added after the game launched.
Any way to install these textures without Frosty? Frosty seems to break my game, and I have to un- and reinstall the game. I'm a noob at ME Andromeda modding tho, so I might be the problem.
Frosty mod manager is the only way, that's strange because it shouldn't break your game till the point you have to reinstall because it doesn't replace any file in your game folder. Did you try the latest Frosty Mod Manager Version? you can download it here http://frostytoolsuitedev.gitlab.io/downloads.html
It kinda goes through the motion of launching Andromeda but before it opens the game in a new window I get a error box and says the game cannot be loaded and crashes back to desktop. The best response I can find is that it has something to do with permissions on the bcrypt.dll file. Which apparently can stop Andromeda launching after you click launch within frosty. But no one has posted how I can fix the permissions. Or at least that I've been able to find. Which rather sucks cause I realy want to try the new smooth texture :( . I have tried running frosty a admin and even edited the security settings on both directories to enable full access but all for naught.
This .DLL file will also prevent you from running the original unmodded game as it leaves a copy of the Bcrypt.dll file in andromeda's main directory. By deleting this file you can at least run the game unmodded, without needing to uninstall the game to fix.
If anyone has instuctions on fixing the permission bug I would love to hear it otherwise I guess I have to stare at this mod wistfully from a distance.
Edit: oh and im using the latest version of Andromeda and frosty.
Oh just a little update, I finally worked out how to avoid Frosty having a nuclear meltdown. Turns out it was the Bcrypt.dll file ( at least in my case) but less to do with permissions and more that the bcrypt.dll file in the current 1.03.1 download just plain does not seem to work as intended.
The work around is:
1. Go to your Andromeda directory. 2. Delete any Bcrypt.dll files you have sitting in the base directory (usually the same folder as Andromeda.exe) 3. Delete ModData Folder (also sitting in the folder that holds the Andromeda.exe file) 4. Now you have a clean Game folder, go tohttps://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/224 5. Download the old Bcrypt.dll file that's sitting on that webpage, there's only one possible file to download so it should be easy to find :) 6. Open the folder that you extracted the Frosty Mod Manager to. 7. Open the "Third Party" folder. 8. Replace the Bcrypt.dll file that got extracted with the rest of the Frost Mod Manager files, with the older one you downloaded from https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/224. 9. Run Frosty Mod Manager as per normal. If you had the same issue as me you should find Frosty is actualy able to boot up the game properly now.
Not sure if there are side effects from using the old Bcrypt.dll file. But with the limited testing I have done thus far, it seems to be working great.
Hope that helps anyone else that's been having issues getting Frosty to work.
I don't have him on the archives because I didn't touch the sliders for him, simply changed the hair, eye color and added the scar to default preset 10 while using my texture uploaded in this mod, he is a nice preset to work with, he looks even better if you touch the sliders.

Nevermind, I am indeed an idiot.

Thoughts?
