Received a couple messages saying they enjoy the mod but the damage was tweaked too high and the extra stats changes the weapons original designs too drastically.
Added a new optional version that re-balances by giving all weapons a smaller damage boost and retaining their original stats (besides the damage). This is intended for all difficulties, playstyles and those who felt the damage was too high. Enjoy!
Unfortunately, I can't use the main file and had to go with the alternative with smaller damage boost file because Frosty said the main file was incompatable and intended for a different patch version. Alternate file works fine.
I don’t think this mod completely works anymore. I used it a long time ago back when it was a .mea (something like that) and I loved it. I installed it recently through Frosty since that’s the new thing and either a) none of the values changed or b) some of the values were changed in the stats but others were completely off. I have other mods working through Frosty Mod Manager so I don’t think that’s the issue. Can you by chance update the mod please?
dunno if its just a tooltip bug or the dmg is wrong too, but PAW rank V says it does 779 dmg instead of 79... and it kicks ass too, i just killed a fiend within 1s with it, so i guess the dmg is F up as well... the rank VI says 84 dmg but i just wasted last of my remnant points on rank 5 and deconstructed my other weapon :(
For the higher damage + bonus stats nothing aside from adding a more clear description of what stats the mod increases and tweaks, and there was a rare bug with the Revenant Assault rifle where the audio would skip when reloading. I fixed that bug and added some images.
Also I made an optional file from scratch that has a lower damage increase for those who feel the damage was too high and didn't like the extra stats.
Hey I don't think you need to worry, I have a mod similar to yours that edits all guns and i tested it today and there were no issues on my end. I looked into the gunstats file in frosty and there were no new weapon index's so that's good. As far as i know, all of the changes in patch 1.10 were MP. BTW, It would be nice if Bioware still supported SP. The game still needs patches for SP. People don't buy Mass Effect for the Mp. But if EA/Bioware can milk us, they will. Anyways, good luck.
Don't have MEA installed currently. As far as I know the 1.10 patch affected multiplayer, if it's affected the single player weapons please leave a comment so I can begin fixing it right away.
What game version are you playing on? This version only works with patch 1.09 of the game. If you install it on an older patch of the game the weapon stats will be mixed up and not function.
i am using the 1.09. some works fine but i dont know why my BW acts like a Assault Rifle. not only the BW but even my Dhan VII has 191,89,7,84,71,18 stats for Piranha VII it goes 454,230,84,839,104,6.
