Admittedly I haven't been keeping tabs on recent events within the modding community. I've been distracted with dipping my toes into Skyrim modding. I'll certainly port this mod over to Frosty Mod Manager soon.
Thanks a lot. Frosty Mod Manager arrived very fast and it seems that MEAExplorer is now outdated. But I cannot give up this mod and a few others because of gameplay which take priority for me.
Thanks again.
EDIT: Managed to import the mod through Frosty Editor and worked wonders; took a few seconds to convert.
Any chance we might be getting this mod for patch 1.08 anytime soon? That would be awesome ^^. I haven't tried whether the current 1.07 version works with patch 1.08 because experiments like that always backfired in my past, but perhaps it does. In that case, all I'd need is a quick heads-up. Thanks a bunch in advance :-).
Hey ReflectedPower, you can just ignore my previous request, I'm now just using your whole mod and it really does make a huge difference, I thought it might make the weapons a bit overpowered, but as it turns out, on insanity, they are perfectly balanced, which makes you wonder what the flipping hell BW was thinking when you have to double the damage of these weapons to actually make it balanced lolz
Now throwing my previous request out the window, I did however have another one, I don't know if you edit the weapons individually or you are editing them through a change to some general configuration which affects all the weapons at the same time, but if it is done on each weapon, would you consider making a fix for all the DLC weapons?
What I was thinking was, since the DLC weapons can't get any higher than rank 5, could you then rework them so the stats reflects that of rank 10 weapons? (including your double damage boost to the AR and pistol ofc), I think a huge amount of people would appreciate this a lot, including myself
Sorry for not responding. I've been dipping my toes into Skyrim modding which has kept my attention. I totally see what you mean, originally I thought double damage was a bit excessive, but after playing with double damage and it STILL taking a considerable amount of bullets to kill stuff on insanity, I don't know how I played without it.
As for your problem I'm not sure how upping gun damage would cause your game to crash, perhaps you unintentionally hit something?
Yea that's what I thought as well, but after redoing it several times and still getting the same result I'm at a complete loss, modding results for this game seems to be extremely flaky, last night I had to reinstall all my mods and even though it was exactly the same I had before one of them is now no longer working, so strange
From what I can tell, the Mattock seems to be the only gun affected. It appears that 1.06 has changed where some guns will get their stats from. Thanks for the heads-up. I'll put out a fix once the full impact of 1.06 is understood.
In the meantime, the Mattock did receive a substantial buff (almost double) with 1.06, so you could use the vanilla damage for it.
Sure, I can do one for all weapons. Problem is 1.06 messed with a lot of gun values so it'll be a bit before the changes are fully understood and I can apply double damage to all weapon.

Sadly for some reason I am not able to make a version with double damage, every time I try to run it the game crashes
