I got permission from DeltaType90 who's the author of the hyper mobility mod to use his files. Turns out my initial version is a bit more conservative with its changes compared to Hyper Mobility. HM turns up the values a little more, so you get even faster turn speed and even faster stopping, in addition to a slight increase to base speed. These versions are now available:
- DeltaTypes90's Hyper Mobility Mk1 mod, but without the sprint speed increase
- DeltaTypes90's Hyper Mobility Grounded mod, but without sprint increase
- My own movement tweaks that I initially made, which is a bit more of a moderate change compared to HM.
- My own movement tweaks, now with the jump increase from HM Mk1 included for convenience. No more overwriting needed.

Something I made for myself but maybe others will enjoy :)
I didn't like the combat sprint speed increase in the Hyper Mobility mod and saw in the comments many agreed.
Since I couldn't get access to the mod source, I tried to tweak movement myself staying as close to the HM changes as possible, without the sprint speed increase. Basically the goal was to make movement feel more responsive.
What this mod does:
- Increase turn speed. Characters reacts faster when you change directions
- Increase stopping speed. Character gets to standstill faster when you stop moving forward
This mod does not affect the jump pack or jump height, but you can use this mod together with Hyper Mobility. If you load it after HM it will overwrite HM's files and you get the ground movement from this mod with the jump changes from Hyper Mobility. This way you get the best of both worlds.
Installation
Please install using Frosty Mod Manager.
This mod can be used as standalone, or if you still want the jump height increase from Hyper Mobility, you can load this mod after HM to overwrite it (what I do myself).
