DO NOT use wavebend's build (1.0.7.0) with Mass Effect Andromeda. It was made with Veilguard in mind. Using it with any game other than Veilguard can, and most likely will, cause issues.
You can have two separate installations of Frosty with no issues.
If you are using 1.0.7.0 with Mass Effect Andromeda, I will not provide support.
I apologize for the video. I'm not making full tutorials anymore so I just made a quick one. If I recall correctly, this is how I did it.
Note: I THINK this only changes the appearance and NOT how the weapon fires. The values are in the same file at the bottom. MEA uses tables sometimes for guns and powers so if these do, you'll find them in a folder call ExcelDataImports (or something like that). I have not tried changing what type of weapons they carry, however (ex.: Cora will carry an Assault Rifle).
Unfortunately there aren't many tutorials for MEA. Due to how the majority of the nagging people treated the game, not many wanted to mod it. I have a few small videos in my channel but they're mostly for meshes. You can also check out Padme's channel. She has a ton more than I do.
I hope this helps and, once again, I apologize for the lack of information. No more motivation to be involved in the modding "community" outside of updating my mods.
In a couple a weeks I'll be working (finally, after 300 years) so I might not have much time later on to help (if I can). It's a short lived job but I need to start somewhere.

I will no longer be releasing any new mods. If any of my current mods need fixing, I will do my best to fix them.
