yea i was a complete derp and completely forgot about the recon scopes. if i have time i might make an optional file for recon scopes. Thanks for bringing this up!
Loving the mod, but I've been having an issue. For some reason, I'm now crashing during the loading sequence for multiplayer maps with this installed, but this didn't start until today. Yesterday, I was completely fine.
idem, i've tried with 2 saves : -the IX tier scope (lever 71 if i'm not mistaken) crash the game as soon as i mount the mod on the AR; -the III tier (around level 20) does nothing (overlay remain untouched). is entirely possible that i'm making some installing mistake but i've followed the installation video to the letter (english is not my language, sorry if i've make some errors)
edit i've tested with simple scope, not recon one, and it work, unfortunatly if you are planning to abuse the infiltrator perk without the overlay doesn't work (for me anyway)
@Jwarner Yes it should affect the standard scopes for single and multiplayer. can you give me alittle info? what happens when you try it? im a novice modder at best, still learnig things.
@fittizzio, thanks for the detailed info. When i have time i will do my best to look into this, if anyone else is having this issue please let me know. i want to see if this is happening to everyone or just select people for some reason.
@gta_manic, i havent gotten around to the recon scopes yet, sorry i forgot they existed when i made this mod. when i have some spare time i will get on it.
@kwarner, you are not blind, that note wasnt there when you brought this issue up.
@fairplayer916 I'm also suffering the hard crash as soon as you switch to a weapon with a level IX standard scope installed. I'm wondering if this is somehow related to the bug that prevents you from obtaining level VIII weapon mods (and IX too until you hit level 71), given that level IX is the first level after that? Perhaps those scopes are somehow different to lower level ones? Shot in the dark (edit: hah, unintentional pun).
Edit: I suddenly find myself frustrated at that fact that, while your earlier level blueprints pointlessly persist when you level up (and clutter up the UI), weapon mods do not. I mean, under normal circumstances that would be equally pointless, but whatevz. Lower level mods could've been made available in stores at a lesser price for those strapped of cash (though they would've had to actually make the economy remotely balanced in the first place...). The entire crafting system is artificially convoluted to approximate a sense of free choice while - almost impressively - managing to completely miss some rather fundamental functionality. Hah, and remember the days when we thought ME1's inventory system was a mess? Good times.

MEA v1.05
Is there any chance of this being applied to the Sandstorm assault rifle? It has a built-in scope and still uses it even with this mod installed.

Single player, Level 63 character and attaching AR Recon Scope VII to muiltiple assault rifles
Edit: I feel blind now. I saw your post below about not including the recon scopes.
