I would not classify the photo of Tali from LE the best, because in this photo is a bug, dark pupils appeared, which should not be at all, and lost the originality of her skin color, it looks too human. As a critic, I will not classify this photo as the best.
The patterns on her forehead, on her neck and just below, the white glowing eyes and the pale skin tone, that's what we recognize and that's what makes her original, and the hacky work, I won't deny it, but there's already a flaw in this photo, and the originality of her appearance is lost. And so the question is which appearance is more canonical, the original with the shoddy and showed how to look quarians, or worked out with a jamb and no respect for the original? You don't have to answer, but you have to think about it.
I could, but I should have said about "Bioware and the Mass Effect Legendary Edition team for creating a new and better picture for Tali." and all.
I mean the original that you're talking about was a patch job made by Bioware in a panic. They quite literally found a stock photo of "smiling woman" and photoshopped it slightly. the picture in this mod is what bioware already replaced the picture with in Legendary, one that actually fits Tali and is not just a "photoshop of stock smiling woman"
Let me put it this way, the girl obtained with the help of a loving man her new home world, and she wants how to thank him, "I'll give him my picture, only more revealed, so he could only look at", and finally for the viewer (and for the main hero) can see more disclosed her appearance outside the suit, it is really a good gift, which is very pleasant to watch. In the original it was shown what was hiding in her locked spacesuit, a quarian who finally got her freedom. And it didn't make me hate that it was just photoshopped from one model, I recognized it, accepted it and that's it, the attitude didn't change from that. And in this one, what's the big deal? It's just a painted photo, I don't see anything so inspiring, it's more suited to be done to get away with it.
My only critic of the picture was that Tali's mask was not fully removed, only the glass visor. Granted it is better than that stupid damn cheap underhanded thing Bioware did. But despite a massive improvement, taking off only the glass visor is the real drawback I see.
Why are some people confused by the fact that the photo of Tali was taken from some model, found a photo from the Internet and changed, but not confused by the fact that all (this is not accurate) model characters of faces, the same as the voiced.
I agree. This new picture isn't an improvement in any way, the original picture is much better... well, her hand was the only "problem". I really don't see a problem with BioWare having used a picture of a real girl, I just think it's really stupid that they didn't make a 3D model for Tali using the girl as base... If they didn't have time when they released Mass Effect 3, that's fine, but again they got a chance to give us a proper lover scene with her taking off her suit and they just gave us a worse picture.
They could have given us a great love scene and kept the original picture, but BioWare again opted for the laziest way to show us her face and still people thank BioWare for that.
Seriously... If you don't like the mod, which is totally fair, this is a voluntary download to make... No one is forcing you to, just skip it. I don't see how coming to comment you don't like a mod serves any purpose to anybody.
I remember what a friend of mine said about how EA, and the game industry, operates now. "Because that's how they eat it and that's how they vote with money and that's how they praise it, BioWare makes conjunctural obscenities thinking that there's just no other way EA sells for huge money shitheads play and praise the press loves it, everyone is happy, why would they change anything, everything will stay the same because, well, that's normal".
You don't need to install ALOT to use the ALOT installer. This is a texture mod so it won't be installed through the M3Tweaks Manager. You can alternatively launch Mass Effect Modder from the manager and use that instead.

But hey, if you don't like it, scroll past the mod?

And yes, RielDeley, unfortunately that's the truth.
ME3Explorer SHOULD NEVER be used to install mods.
