Asking for a selfish reason, as prepping for a pre-ME:LE playthrough and would rather not have to vanilla everything for the update. If it's close I'll wait.
I'll have a look at what I can do over the next couple weeks - 1.1 involves synth work and custom FaceFX, and working on that in addition to my Joker romance mod is a lot! However, I'll see if I can rush out something. :)
That's cool. I have had the pleasure of getting everything set and the next day an update comes out and have to do it all over again. Lesson learned and now I try to check. LOL
- On the Citadel meetup later on in the game, Kaidan never refers to Shepard as having "cheated."
I got interested in modding ME3 purely to remove that line from the presidium date. ''I understand why you cheated, but i still love you Shepard.'' You're on a date, supposedly reconnecting with each other. Talk about a mood killer. More to the point the conversation just moves past that statement as if it wasn't said or it's automatically agreed with. Shepard can't respond in any way, disagree with the accusation or shut it down. Or even a simple ''Let's put it behind us and move on.'' It's so inappropriate.
Anyway excuse my rant i'm just so pleased this exists, thanks again.
Exactly my thoughts as well! Kaidan would understand that for all Shepard knew, they were done on Horizon. The word "loved" in the past tense was used. It's unreasonable in my view to allow mShep to answer back to Ashley if she accuses him of such, yet femShep has to sit there and take it. The implication being that she's guilty, end of. Uncool! You're very welcome, I hope this small mod helps!
Even if Kaidan thought that, how clueless do you have to be to say it when you're trying to get back together with someone? I'd dump him on principal.
I'd pay money to be able to say the mShep line about 'you walked away from me' to him. The way that the two identical situations are handled so differently if Shepard is male or female is really unacceptable.
I also hate how the game considers the ME1 romance to be the 'real' romance and the ME2 is a fling, even if that's not how you play it. Even if you break things off, she only says to 'keep things professional,' not 'I'm with someone else.' (Side note: I always wonder how Kaidan and 'everyone' know about the other person!)
I like the way this mod handled the situation better than how BO does since that just treats it as if they never had a romance, which doesn't quite work, although it's better than vanilla.
Yes indeed! I am working on a version that will let femShep say the same (or very similar) line to him. The line was not recorded, true. But... I will just say that I have my ways, the wheels are already in motion, and leave it at that...
V1.0 is just meant to be functional. V.1.1 will add functionality. ;)

The lines affected by this mod are not lines that are voiced by male Shepard. I don't know how SGR affects the scenes this mod edits, so I am going to guess no!
I may investigate a compatibility patch in future if this "cheating" dialogue is used against mShep with their mod.
I have always used BackOff in the past to give Kaidan some "attitude adjestment" but for those who don't want to/can't use that mod for whatever reason, this is wonderful :)
Jacob can't cheat on anybody, nobody ever romances him.
He was supposed to be main romance for femshep, a male 'Miranda' (I mean, his name in the game files is 'leading' as in leading man) and nobody did. I think the writers felt bad for him and so gave him his own romance. lol
How did she, though? Kaidan made it pretty clear things were over, on Horizon. mShep gets to tell Ashley off when she accuses him of such a thing, yet when femShep is accused, she can't say anything in her own defense. It's not reasonable to accuse Shepard of that. :)
The mShep line is something like 'you walked away from me on Horizon. You don't get to be upset because I moved on.'
I think that sums it up pretty well. Also to cheat on someone you have to know you're together. FemShep can tell Joker "He moved on, I can't blame him." At least she thinks it's over. Even in the message he writes, he says that 'when things have calmed down... I don't know... maybe.' Sounds over. The line is just inappropriate.

Anyway, rant over. Thanks!

Nobody Cheated is only in reference to Kaidan's weird bit of dialogue. :D
Because NOBODY CHEATED! Dead, then yelled at and dismissed first time seen alive - STFU KAIDAN, you dumped my shep on Horizon!
