This mod is exactly what I'm looking for in LE. Not requesting anything, just asking how? I wanted to edit coalesced but it's not there, or I can't find it. If you could send a tutorial, just for personal use, it would be great.
I know you've asked this a while back, but from Project Variety's page under Misc changes (not optional file): "Miranda's passive class has been renamed to Femme Fatal because she is no longer with Cerberus."
However, when trying to install, the option to change Javik's powers is grayed out and can't be selected. Any idea what is causing this? I have plenty of mods installed, but was very thorough to prevent incompatibilities. Here's my list:
- Expanded Galaxy Map - Ark Mod - Omega Hub - Project Variety 3 (Default Armor, Hairstyles and Casuals for Javik and Miranda, no breather for Javik) - Take Earth Back - Legion Arena Mod - ME3 Skip Conversation - Fix Pack for ME3 - Fate of Emily Wong - F.I.S.H. - Geth Dreadnough Aftermath Mod
Yeah I have. I considered Aria too. But the only option I see is giving him Adrenaline Rush instead of Carnage. lift Grenade is important to give him more Stim Pack which help him to survive and he needs it in Insanity, same for Barrier. Adrenaline Rush can compensate his suicidal AI.
But I don't know if I ll do. I did it for Miranda(and Javik) to keep consistency and a Logic between Vanillas Squadmate since she is part of the crew with the Miranda Mod. Its not the case for Wrex beeing a Bonus squadmate, so it's not a big deal for me and I Like keep things close to the original despite all the mods I have haha.
I always bring him on the Citadel mission. It's just odd he doesn't have a biotic power, lift grenade is a grenade so doesn't really count and, to me, is pretty useless. Much rather he had slam or throw or anything else instead. I also found it odd he had barrier and stims, usually only have one defensive power. But again that's just me. Thanks for the reply!
If you do fix Wrex's powers, maybe get rid of Lift Grenades or Stim Packs?
The stim pack and lift grenade share the same stock of grenades, so he uses up all his grenade stock with the stim pack, and then there are no more grenades for him to use lift grenade. (Probably replace Lift Grenades since Stim Packs are unique for him). Even if you have squadmates power usage set to off, Wrex always uses up his grenades and stimulant packs in under a minute. I assume it's Wrex using all his stim packs at once (super aggressive AI). He probably would get downed too frequently if he didn't use stim packs (because of how he charges in) - and yeah lift grenade gives him more stim packs, but he'd probably be more useful with another biotic power to have biotic combos with.
Like I said, it's probably not worthwhile to get rid of his stimulant packs - but his AI spams them and he has no grenades. Really once he spams them, he only has two powers - Barrier/Concussive Shot left.
Great job, as Miranda is my favourite squadmate - it is nice to see her get her powers updated to make her more unique! I always love having her on the squad thanks to Miranda Mod so it is very nice to see this mod! Thanks so much!
Some squadmates have class trademark powers.Tali has combat drone, Liara has singularity, Ashley and Garrus have concussive shot, Kasumi has tactical cloak. Whose squadmates could have Tech Armor and Biotic Charge?
Sadly Biotic charge doesn't work for squadmate(it would be Great for Wrex) For Tech Armor except for Kaidan who has already Barrier I don't think it fits any squadmate. The only one I could see have it is Mordin since his passive in ME2 gives him additional shields.
I will not replace any regular squadmate's power too keep consistency between them. The only exception is Javik because each of them have two uniques bonus powers,( that's why I decided to revamp Miranda since the Miranda Mod adds her to the crew)I can't let Javik share Slam(a bonus power) with Miranda. Perhaps I am too maniac haha.
2) Why are there all these extra files in the DLC folder:
3) The files that depend on other DLC being installed should probably be added by conditionals, otherwise texture scans will show broken textures and users will think something is wrong. Documentation on writing conditional installs
For the 1 and 2, it was the package I did just for testing the mod could work as a seperate folder, and It didn't overwritten when i deployed the clean version for obscures reasons lol. (and of course I forgot verifying...^^")
For the 3, I didnt' think it could cause problems because for my case it basically just a "Battle of priority" lol, and I didn't see something like this in the textures when I did some check, but I'll take a look, thanks for your advice.

I don't use Project Variety, but normally yes if you don't install the extra Arena outfit for Miranda, and the breather for Javik.
So it might conflict with this mod.

Have you considered giving Wrex some new/alt powers that are more consistent with ME1 and less useless?

You see Miranda on Horizon killing her father by using throw...
(As well do Javik - when he wakes up on Eden Prime - and Wrex - after arriving in Sur'Kesh - use throw.)
