About this mod

Modify the very end of the game to make Shepard less injured.

Permissions and credits
This mod aims to make Shepard less injured at the end of the game, or not injured at all, from the moment he wakes up after the run to the conduit.

Compatibility

Compatible with vanilla game, all base game DLCs, MEHEM up to some point (more details after), and should be compatible with JAM, though I haven't tested yet.
UPDATE : Should now also be compatible with Deager's modded MEHEM

Changes from the base game

There is different changes that you can apply separately, depending on what you think is best. I advise to read all details about each change as some of them have drawbacks :

- Keeping your armor :
Shepard will stay in the armor you had during the Priority:Earth mission, including head gear, so think of it if your helmet covers Shep's face, and if that is a problem for you during the ending.

- Normal movements :
Shepard will not limp anymore, he will walk at normal speed, in his habitual combat stance. He won't stumble and fall before entering the conduit.

- No blood :
Get rid of Shepard's bloody face.
! Two problems here, I'm working on it but can't find a solution yet :
! Works only partially with MEHEM, as the blood will came back in the memorial scene.
! Spoiler alert :
Weirdly, the blood will come back for a short moment only in the case where Anderson is killed by TIM. It will disappear again once in the crucible.

- Keeping your weapon :
Shepard will keep the weapon you had during the Priority:Earth mission. Works best (visually) with a gun, as another weapon (tried with rifles) makes for some weird animation after Shepard wakes up.
! Only before entering the beam, does not works once in the citadel, your weapon will still get replaced by a Carnifex.

- No visual effects :

Get rid of the red/bloody effect surrounding the screen, and the camera shaking before entering the conduit.

- No Husks :
Get rid of the husks attack before entering the conduit.
! FIY, it makes the scene a bit bland

- No Maurauder Shields :
As for the husks, get rid of the marauder attack.
! Again, makes the scene less interesting.

How to install

This mod consists of several .mod files that you must install with ME3Explorer's Mod Maker.

Which .mod files to use :
You have several options. There is a "default.mod" file that will apply several changes as, to my opinion, is the most interesting and present no major drawbacks :
Keep armor, normal movements, no blood, no visual effects
This default .mod will apply to all DLC + Mehem + Jam if you have them installed.
If it's ok for you, only apply this .mod file.
There is also a "defaultWithWeapon.mod", with makes the same change + keeping your weapon

If you want to customize it more, you will get several folders with the .mods files for the vanilla game, the extended cut, Mehem and JAM.
Choose which modifications you wish to apply, and use only the .mod files corresponding to your needs (both in terms of change, and installed mods).
! With MEHEM or JAM, in any case, you have to apply the .mod files for the extended cut for all changes to works as intended, as some changes (husks, marauder, keeping your weapon, etc. are only applied to vanilla/EC parts of the game).

So for example, if I have MEHEM installed and I just want to keep my armor and get rid of the husks + marauder, I will apply the following .mod files :
ExtendedCut
    > armor.mod
    > husks.mod
    > marauder.mod
MEHEM
    > armor.mod

Using ModMaker :
First of all if not already done, install and configure ME3Explorer, you can follow this guide :
ME3Explorer Getting started guide

Follow the parts "Download toolset", "Initial Setup", "Backup games" if you wish, and don't forget "DLC Patcher".

Once ME3Explorer is installed, you need to open ModMaker (from the home screen of ME3Explorer, in the "Install Mods" part), then click "Load" and load all the needed .mod files, then click "Run All".
The whole process shoud not take more than 1-2 minutes.

If you use the "default" version of the mod, you will probably have errors notifying that some mods/jobs were not installed, it's normal as the .mod files will try to modify all impacted DLC/Mods, even if you don't have some of them. It's normal and won't be a problem though.

A huge thanks to the ME3Explorer's team for their awesome toolset !
