I was waiting for a tutorial like this but im a bit bummed that I can't use ALOT installer and or MEM tool to use as well. :( Its really ashamed that ME3explorer is the only way on editing scenes and such. The custom mod compatilbility im talking about regards Ashley related mods specifically. Oh well, great mod nonetheless. Oh maybe im not reading the info correctly?
These tutorials aim to assist and provide a detailed guide for Commanders, such as yourself, on how to manipulate normally incompatible mods so they will function together. The only way to accomplish this is to manipulate the mod and game files. I have used these tutorials with both ALOT and MEM, respectively. ME3explorer is a very useful tool and may be required to make the edits you desire, but not necessarily. What exactly are you looking to change? Perhaps I can assist you or point you in the right direction.
Thank you! It was certainly a labor of love on my part, but so very time consuming. If I can save anyone else some time and effort, it's all been worth it. Let me know if the tutorials were helpful, should you get around to them.
Can you remove your guides about SP Controller mod please? I am the developer of that and your guide contains multiple incorrect pieces of information. Users should not be building compatibility packs of any sort against it unless it is using the UI compatibility generator specified in the directions of the mod.
The issue is that the guide is entirely not necessary. You install a DLC mod, you install SP Controller support, then you generate a compatibility pack. Then you install texture mods. The compatibility pack is literally the second highest tier mod's files that conflict, promoted into first with the adjusted UIs. There is nothing the user needs to do beyond that. The files that the game uses at that point will be the second highest tier mod, not controller support's.
