This mod is a Mod Manager mod, because I don't like having to deal with users who somehow manage to FUBAR it trying to do it on their own, and all my mods are released as Mod Manager mods.
This mod must be installed BEFORE ALOT. If you install it after, expect the game to look a little... broken :)
you have to add DepthOfField=False in the GamerSettings.ini file to remove all post-processing effects including Vignette in cutscenes. This mod doesn't remove it entirely. But doing so will change the color(olive green filter all over the screen) and you will need a Reshade to restore the color balance.
You say that this mod is compatible with EGM in a comment below. But in mod manager it says for SFXGame.pcc: Extended Galaxy Mod 1.71 + Vignette Remover 1.0.
Is this ok, or does this indicate that one of them has overwritten the other?
I made the mistake of installing ALOT and not installing this mod first, and the vignette is bugging the hell out of me. Is there a manual way to disable the vignette effect without disabling the other postprocessing effects? In the file description it says "Disables Vignette from SFXUberPostProcessing" but I can't find "SFXUberPostProcessing" anywhere in the Coalesced.bin file (using Wench's Coalesced Editor v1.2). Thanks!
I actually figured out how to do it manually without having to do a fresh install of the game or breaking it. I opened up Engine.pcc in ME3Explorer's Package Editor, went down to Exp 24949 (Default__SFXUberPostProcessEffect) and changed the boolean "EnableVignette" from True to False.
Thanks for this, changing the "EnableVignette" variable in Engine.pcc to false worked! I REALLY didn't want to have to install ALOT textures again, and didn't have to with this :)
Here's a detailed guide: For other people who installed ALOT before this mod - use MEExplorer. First, make a backup of Engine.PCC (trust me, do it.). Then in ME Explorer go to Create Mods -> Package Editor. File - Open - Engine.PCC. Click Exports. Search for "Default__SFXUberPostProcessEffect" (second search textbox). Then in the right pane find BoolProperty -> EnableVignette. Set that to "False". Then File - Save.
After thtat you may need to use Utilities -> PCC Repacker in ME Explorer to compress the Engine.pcc file, or your game won't launch.
Doing this will make it so you don't get support from the ALOT team. Additionally, repacking a PCC doesn't make a difference because our compression is not as efficient so it won't matter to the game (nor should you use an ancient version of the toolset).
I'm...really confused. This just makes everything more green? It's literally the only difference I can see in the screenshots. I'm not trying to criticize, I just don't understand what this is supposed to alter.
Is it possible to restore the vignette effect after installing alot? I underestimated the colour difference and I want to see what could have been. No biggie if it isn't possible, I'm more curious than anything. The difference between this vignette and the me2 version seems more substantial.
Is this mod compatible with the A L O T texture mod? Would it be bad if I applied this with a lot already installed? Never mind just saw that it's not.

Is it because of the controller mod?
the constant switching between colors and vignette is annoying.

You will have to reinstall alot, its just how textures work in this game.
