Does this mod works for custom femshep? Is this mod compatible with mods managers?

Ok how do you get it to not crash on load? I thought it was just me trying to use the Illusive Man eyes but apparently that's not it

if you are using the custom hair one you must have a custom hair, if just using the default hair i'm not really sure

open gibbed, open your save file, then go to the appearance tab under the player tab. click on headmorph, then choose to import file. get to wherever your extracted the file, then open it. you can also change hair color here if you don't want the default red when the headmorph has been loaded using HED_Hair_Color_Vector and the two highlight options at the bottom. save your new save file, use in game. lmk if additional instructions are needed

Hi. I'm trying to install this (the default hair one) as you described, but the game crashes when loading the new save. I'm not having this issue with other headmorph files, just this one. Any idea of how to fix it?

Hm, not sure why that would be happening. Using any other mods?

I'm using a couple, though not any faces/models. I asked a friend (who has no mods installed at all) to try this and she said it crashed for her as well.

were you using the game's default head on the save you tried to use this on?

Yeah, I tried with both a custom head and the default one. I've also tried both versions of this mod now; same issue.

I'm going to redo the textures for both files and re-upload them. I'm also looking around online but I'm having trouble finding anyone who has had the same problem with a headmorph. Do you know if it's just this specific file(s) that's giving you trouble, have you tried other headmorphs?

Thanks for the help, but unfortunately, the game still crashes with the new version. I've tried a couple different headmorphs successfully (one of them looks a little weird because it needs a hair mod I don't have, but I can still load the save and see the morphed face), so it seems to be related to these particular files somehow. I don't need to install any mod in order to use them, right?

I'm not knowledgeable about these things, but I'll see if I can find something online as well, just in case.

Nope, you really shouldn't need any mods or even textures to run this, it's just made with the save editor. I'll try a clean installation of the game and see if it crashes for me.

Ok, I spent a few hours last night trying to figure this out. I re-installed the game (no dlc, no mods), and when I imported the headmorph it crashed, just like you said. I tried re-making it from scratch, still crashed. I started adding mods one by one, it was still crashing. I ended up re-making it again bit by bit, and it ended up working fine, but the weird thing is that it started working out of the blue, not after adding any additional mods. I only installed the dlc patch, a dlc hair mod and the patch that came with it, and a texture mod, but none of those should affect this headmorph since it uses vanilla textures and both hairs are already in the game as well, so I'm not sure where it started working. I bundled the two that I re-made that worked (it's vanilla fix under old files), but I doubt they'll work with a clean installation of the game. I can look into this more later (I'd have to re-download the game again) if you'd like but I'm still not sure where I'm going wrong with this headmorph.

Just tried the new "vanilla fix" versions. The custom hair one still crashes, but the default hair one, which I intended to use, does work now - and it looks good! One question, though: Was the eye colour changed at some point? It's fine for me either way, but it looks different in the pics.

Have you tried asking other modders about the crashes?

Oops, looks like I never changed the eye color. I'll re-upload again, sorry, I was mainly focused on the hair clipping and getting it not to crash when I was making it.
