Oh how I wish I could! Sadly, mesh modding for ME2 isn't quite possible yet. I do believe the experts at the ME3Explorer forums are working on it though, so hopefully someday!
The second I know it's possible, Samara will be in her new commando uniform so fast she won't know what hit her!
I adore this mod it makes Samara look so much more badass and professional than her original outfit and I love you for making this! However I am having a slight problem. This outfit shows up everywhere except for the scene with her at the Embassy. I have no idea why, as I've gone through asset explorer and texplorer to see what textures are showing up, and it should be this one, but it's not. I've not had this problem anywhere else, not even with the Citadel DLC, and I am just a bit confused as to why this is happening.
Thank you and I'm glad you like it! Unfortunately, I honestly have no idea where the game could possibly be pulling her default armor from. Every single instance of the mesh and textures are replaced by this mod, as confirmed by Meshplorer 2, Texplorer, and Asset Explorer searches. My best guess is some sort of mod conflict, quite probably with a DLC mod, though I don't know of any that affect those particular files.
Edit: It's JohnP's Alternate MEHEM that's conflicting. You can either remove the mod completely or just take out the BioD_CitHub_EmbassyP3.pcc, run AutoTOC in ME3Explorer for that DLC and the main PCConsoleTOC.bin file, then run the TOCBin Updater for the main file. That should do it
Thanks for the reply I thought perhaps it may have been a conflict with some DLC. I don't have the MEHEM installed, but I DO have JAM installed; do you think that could possibly be causing the problem? I will do some troubleshooting with disabling various DLC files and running that scene to see if another DLC is causing the same issue and post my results on here when I've figured it out.
EDIT: okay so it turns out JAM was in fact causing the conflict, which actually makes sense, as I didn't include the JAM DLC in my latest texplorer scan (oopsie). Fortunately, I really don't need JAM until the end of the game, so disabling and then enabling it again for that scene really is no big deal at all!
oh my god duh I am so used to referring to that mod as simply JAM that I forgot what the actual name of it is apparently I'll just casually let myself out.....
I had the same problem, also because of JAM. You can make a JAM patch for this mod pretty easily. This is how:
1. Backup BioD_CitHub_EmbassyP3.pcc from the BIOGame\CookedPCConsole folder 2. Copy the BioD_CitHub_EmbassyP3.pcc from BIOGame\DLC\DLC_CON_JAM\CookedPCConsole into BIOGame\CookedPCConsole and overwrite 3. Install this mod again 4. Copy the BioD_CitHub_EmbassyP3.pcc from BIOGame\CookedPCConsole back into BIOGame\DLC\DLC_CON_JAM\CookedPCConsole and overwrite 5. Restore the backupped BioD_CitHub_EmbassyP3.pcc from step 1 back into the BIOGame\CookedPCConsole folder 6. Do a Auto Toc on BIOGame\DLC\DLC_CON_JAM\PCConsoleTOC.bin or the game won't load
This way you have a patched BioD_CitHub_EmbassyP3.pcc for JAM for this mod.
Oh hey, thanks! I'll see about maybe getting a patch up in the (hopefully) near future, but in the meantime I'll direct anyone who has problems to this post
This mod's awesome, I'm so bloody sick of that shitty cleavage armour they give her as default. Is there any chance you'd be able to change the colours around a bit? Maybe white and blue, a bit like Liara's colour scheme?
Thanks, I'm glad you like! And as of now, I don't have any concrete plans to do recolors, but I may add one or two in the future. I'll keep your color suggestion in mind!
Hmmm...I'm kinda on the fence with using this. LOL! What you've done looks awesome...but Samara is a Justicar after all, and not a commando.
So personally I'd like to see some instructions included with your mod on how to revert Samara back to her normal appearance if we don't care to use your mod after a period of time. But I truly do like what you've done. She looks great! :-)
Thanks for the compliment and don't worry, I perfectly understand being unsure about a mod! It's pretty easy to get rid of a mod you don't want, but you do have to keep backups of the game files. I've added the file names and their locations to the mod description, along with basic instructions.
Thank you PrincessD this is excellent! Love the coloring and the Commando armor is a win. Samara definitely needed a change of attire. Thank you again. Endorsing ASAP and kudo too!

(and JohnP's Alternate MEHEM and JAM are the same mod )
