I think this is a beautiful set of armor for Samara. It looks great against the pale colors of the monastery. I've been monkeying around trying to update it myself but I don't have the skills yet and I need the time to learn.
I've tried installing this a few times with two fresh ME3s and I keep getting stuck on installing the .MOD file. From what I can tell, it seems to get stuck on "Generating thumbnail for: Remove top image in ASA_ARM_SAMa_Norm" and doesn't progress from there, the ModMaker seems to stay on that point and never finishes.
To make this armor look more like standard or completely change its colour, you will need to redraw textures. I don’t know how to do that, but will gladly provide you with the textures if there is someone who wants to redraw. Thanks for response!
I know how to recolor textures and would be willing to give it a go if you still be interested. A bit lost about the redraw textures part but sure I can learn or at least try. Would that be the red/orange or black outfit?
Both of them would be great! But, probably, most of people prefer red colour for Samara's outfit. So, I've added an archive with modders resources in download area: .upk-model and .dds-textures. Feel free to use it any way you want. Just save your work with MIP-maps, that will make in-game-import easier.
Ok I will try to modify using the red and yellow scheme from ME2 and then also black and yellow and maybe a red and black. I don't know what you mean about WIP; are you referring to uploading to the nexus as a work in progress?

I think it may be safer if I just modify texture and send to you to mip map create. It may take me about another week maybe two to get them ready. I have had some real life events that are taking precedence right now.
With the real life events and the troubles they spawned now in the past. I am now back to working on this..... both versions (ME2 default and loyalty= [redish-orange + gold and black and red]) Managed the MIPMAP creation. The only thing taking real time right now is perfecting it - pixel by bloody pixel.
Not to be a nag, but...Any updates for us? The white is much better than her default, but I'd sure like to hear how the black and red options are coming along.
My Machine got infected by that cryptowall3.0 virus (don't trust those ancestry websites) It completely encrypted ALL 7 TB of my data into a unreadable/unrecoverable mess.
Basically I lost over 15 years of work that I have spent the whole first part of this year rebuilding from scratch all the data I lost.
However the good side is I should have an update for the black/orange and red/black version by Wednesday at the latest.
Ok files are rather set just some testing need doing. Problem is that I will be at least two weeks before any futher possible update unless someone could send me a ME3 save just before encountering Samara. If someone could however It could save quite a bit of time.
Hey, look! Armor that's actually ARMOR! I swear, if Bioware does this in Andromeda, I'm going to explode. Heels and cleavage are neither practical nor vacuum-sealable. Every other mission that I took Samara on was unbreathable-atmosphere, and there she was with half her chest and most of her head exposed to chlorine swamps, 200-kph wind gusts, etc. Great job, although as the others said, I look forward to a red or black version.
I've had a mod sitting on my back burner for a while now that'll do basically the same thing, only mine gives her a commando uniform in her standard colors. I'd have posted it already, but for one little scene not cooperating. Does your mod successfully change her outfit when you meet her on the Citadel after the monastery? I've changed every single file for her I can find, but her armor just refuses to change in that one scene.
