If you want to help with the project, donating a Nexus Premium membership is useful as I have to download many mods to test with the many different features (like identifying third party mods).
Is there any way to tell the program to ignore cyclic redundancy checks for backups? Cause it refuses to do a backup despite Steam checking file integrity and saying everything's fine.
Hey Mgamerz. Gonna post here. Small bug , but anyhow : Ashley Marksman Fix shows as Ashley Battlepack in ME3Tweaks Manager. U closed posts there so. Sorry for any inconvenience.
You'll have to create an exception in the program to allow it to run properly. I've run into the same problem with BitDefender in the past. I hope this helps!
Hi there. First of all thank you for this usefull tool. All is functinonig fine only the exploer will not load. (to edit coalescend) Is there a known bug? What other software there is to edit .bin files? I have looked everywhere before posting here.
Just downloaded this like two hours ago but I have a probelm already. When I'm downloading a mod on Vortex for skyrim or fallout it open the ME3Tweaksmodmanager and so I can't download on vortex anymore what can I do to fix that please ?
this tool is quintessential for a series of reasons, but I have strong beef with it's built-in "requirements" of .NET (which are included in Win11) refusing to download the Explorer, while it also makes me triggered how it requires to eat 100gb on a needless backup when the manager system itself could simply delete mods (except for the community patches, for obvious reasons) - there's a lot of things made over complicated through the tool for no logical reason at all that are damaging to users...
Thing is that I strongly HATE whenever a tool keeps demanding unreasonable installations and waste of disk space when none are factually necessary.
.NET 5+ are not included in any versions of windows, I don't know what you're talking about. Backups are the only way to restore some game files. But you're free to try to mod without it.
The manager is gorgeous! I don't use even half of its functionality, but the most important thing is that it is convenient to install and manage mods, this tool helps! The new ability to create and install groups of mods, as well as configure these groups, deserves special thanks. This greatly simplifies life and saves a lot of time for me, as I am constantly testing different combinations.
The only wish I have is to be able to work with content mods and textures independently. So you don't have to return the entire game to its original state after installing textures. (And, well, also, so that game backups don't weigh so much, but it's probably impossible =))
Many thanks to the entire development team and fans!
Due to how the engine works you cannot have texture mods be separate as they modify files in place. The system for knowing what to update for a texture is very complicated and the dev chose to pick some restrictions in order to keep the codebase maintainable.
It is far more complicated in OT as you also have to deal with LODs and ME1 especially since it uses package offsets for textures which is just horrible.
Does this have to be installed on the same drive as the game ? or can I have the game on my ssd and the mod downloads on my hdd to save space on the ssd
