Hello. I'm not hoping for getting any kind of replies for this post, but you never know. My problem is when I load the file in me3explorer and analyse the textures, it shows: '0 valid textures out of 4' and the changes don't apply in the game. Is there any kind of solution for this issue, or may I do something wrong? Thank you already for your reply. :)
So, ive used this mod all the time, then all of the sudden, the whole gun is pure black! any ideas? and it was fine before I used the ME3 Recalibrated mod, could that be it?
I'm not sure of your exact issue, but I have had success in similar situations by remembering to "Add DLC" to my Texplorer tree so that textures get modified across the board and DLC mods don't "overwrite" the base game textures. Hopefully that makes sense. I'm not extremely versed in modding.
Hello Chashan. I hope you may see this comment. Today I downloaded this mod and added to ME3. I try to add only a couple of mods at a time. I then start the game to see if there are any problems. Game could freeze, or just a black screen etc. I added the mod using Explorer and started the game. I took Shephard down to the shuttle bay and the weapons bench. I selected the Cerberus harrier and on the screen no gun. Everything else was there. I clicked on one of the weapons mods. The game froze. I had to restart the PC. I started the game and tried again. Same problem with the the game and the PC freezing. After restarting I tried reloading the mod from the start. Same problem. I have searched every forum I can think of for a solution. I hope you can help. I am no mod expert. Is there a way of removing just the Spectre Grey harrier mod from the game? I do have backup folder of the Biogame and also the full ME3 folder. I hope not to reload one of those folder because I would loose some of the recent mods I added to ME. I hope you can help and I have made sense of the problem? Thank you.
Updated description: just got done reinstalling the game and testing whether the .tpf works with me3explorer rev 653 108w. Found as much to be the case.
Apologies for the delayed answer. Regarding this I'll have to say I currently do not have ME3 installed on my rig. I'd have to re-install the game and see for myself whether it works with newest versions of me3explorer or not. In the mean-time, what you can do is use the versions of me3explorer I listed in the download- and description-section.
To clear up another thing: credit for the texture itself, as I stated in the description, goes to BSN-user variobunz as well as smarteck. All I did was repack for the then current .tpf-install method for me3explorer.
This is almost too perfect. I was just looking for a texture of this gun so I could recolor it myself because this is my current favorite gun as far as how it feels in combat but the colors were always such an eye soar, so, yeah, me too, totally was just reading up on how to quickly do this myself and then found your mod here, wow, too perfect because you even colored it like better than I would had prolly, lol.
Which ME3Explorer-version were you using? As I mentioned in the description, I packaged this with rev 620-622 107k. While .tpf shouldn't be that dependent on this, it may be incompatible with recent updates to me3explorer due to some drastic changes.
Sorry for the late response,I have been busy lately.I had some problems with certain programs that I had to correct.I was able to get your file to work using texmod.I like your texture better than the default as this rifle is my favorite to use.Thank you for providing this file.
I like the darker look of the harrier. Any plans for other guns? For example a sniperrifle (Widow or Javelin maybe^^)? Or do you know any ME3-Explorer Mods for these weapons? I only find some texmod-files in the social-bioware forum.
First, I am no texture-modder, meself, merely did a couple adjustments to the original .tpf and then uploaded it here. You can find the steps I took to do that here:
Now, me3explorer did get a couple new features in recent updates which may or may not include an automated process of this, I have not updated to the latest version, 628, as of now to check that out. You should be able to install those old .tpf through TPF-Tools via that means, and should the .tpf in question merely have no MIPs generated use the steps I linked to. If not, it may be somewhat more problematic...
As for all-new retextures, you could try and put up a request on the me3explorer-boards, they got a section for that here: http://me3explorer.freeforums.org/mods-in-development-f22.html Or else try and contact some of the texture-modders you find either there or right here on nexus. It's not too outlandish a request, after all. Myself, I would like to see a retexture of the Raptor to something darker sáns the Cerberus-logo, come to think of it...
