About this mod

Another retexture of equipment manufactured by the watchdogs of hell, originally done by variobunz based on smarteck´s high-resolution texture. Because a new paint-job and erasure of questionable insignia should be something the end of the 22nd century´s capable of.

Permissions and credits
Retexture originally made by variobunz based on smarteck's hi-res Harrier. I merely edited MIPs and repacked the .tpf for permanent installation on me3explorer versions 620-622 107k.* Should otherwise work with standard Texmod-method, tutorial of which can be found here:

Uploaded with the kind permission of smarteck. Does not include adjustments to menu-icons. You can find the original upload here:

To install permanently you will need to have successfully executed a tree-scan with me3explorer. With that being the case, open up me3explorer's TPF/DDs Tools, select top left "Load TPF" and point to the extracted .tpf that comes with the .rar-archive. Next step, select "Analyze with Texplorer" to the bottom left. Once that is finished, select "Autofix and Install" to the bottom right. Once completed, you can exit me3explorer.

DLC-default.sfar affected by this are those of DLC_CON_GUN01 – Firefight Pack-DLC – and DLC_CON_MP2 – Rebellion DLC. You shouldn't need both of these for the installation to work, "Analyze with Texplorer"-function should automatically detect whether one or the other, or both are installed. Nor should this be an issue in MP, it's client-side only and hardly a wall-hack, is it.

Thanks go to

smarteck, for creating the basis of this texture

variobunz for creating the retexture itself

Ottemis for pointing to the tools to do the editing of ol' .tpf

the me3explorer-team.

*620 107k is the version this upload's .tpf was originally packed with. The recently released 623-build has made some drastic changes to .sfar-infrastructure. Should there be problems installing on later versions, you may wish to down-grade me3explorer to install this mod, for which I suggest the following method:

Further update: the .tpf works smoothly with me3explorer rev 653 108w. You can get that the same way as shown in the link above.

File found working with rev 688 109w of me3explorer. For instructions on how to properly set up that version of me3explorer as well as its tree-scan, check this guide:

Addendum to description about how to install through TPF/DDS Tools above: you'll need to hit 'Install Valid' instead of 'Autofix and Install'.
