(Please download the FemShep's Armory breathers) You want to show off your fabulous hairstyle and outfit in space but you cannot because of those ever so serious helmets? Here is the solution.

Hey there! While this mod is still usable, it's way outdated. I'm only leaving it up for posterity's sake, as this was my first ever mod and I'm just sentimental like that.

Please download the breathers from FemShep's Armory! It has both male and female version.

If you're like me, who doesn't care anymore about space-appropriate appearance ever since the companions with breathers, or even without half of their clothes in ME2, this might be something you need. I actually found female breather on the internet (source provided below), but I found nothing when looking for male breather. So I thought I'd put this together for those as lazy as I usually am. The helmet isn't really customizable, as I'm not as smart with mods as I'd like to be so I guess this will have to do it. Although luckily the base color is a neutral black/grey.

Important notes
All instruction included in a notepad. Make sure you read it thoroughly!
It's very important to edit the coalesced.bin file. I'm unsure why, at the time, I didn't emphasize how important it is, but it really is! Otherwise you will get bald Shepard, and then showing off your wonderful hairstyles is impossible. The reason why I didn't upload a coalesced.bin file, is because in my experience people often modify it - or have to, even. My file has been edited in other sections too, and didn't want to overwrite something in your game you didn't want. It's very easy to edit it, too, but if people would rather have me upload a clean coalesced.bin file because that's easier for them (not everyone can be a tech savvy after all), I can do that sometime.

Before you play multiplayer, remove coalesced.bin somewhere, where you can restore it later!
Again, not sure why I haven't mentioned this, I can only guess I assumed those who dabble with mods may know the risks already of modding. Having the .pcc files in your game folder is absolutely harmless, however your multiplayer will detect your modified coalesced.bin. Of course, just because we have a sense of fashion, we don't want to be branded as cheaters for that.

These breathers replace the N7 helmet and N7 breather helmet, if you want to keep them, don't use this mod or replace another helmet manually.
You can replace other helmets manually by editing different lines in the coalesced.bin file within the helmet category. The reason I replaced the N7 helmet and N7 breather helmet is that they are the default helmets used from the get-go, so on Mars you can already look fabulous. (Shouldn't I stop with these jokes already)

Where are the masks from:
The female breather is Liara's mask without the crest wing (thanks ELE08 for the source which can be found on her blog), the male breather is Adams' (from the scene where EDI reveals herself).
Update: I uploaded a new, optional female mask, which is extracted from Ashley's files. It looks just like the male version, so it would be like a uniform. Liara's breather mask has straps on however, so that may seem more "reasonable" than a strapless mask. Instructions are the same as for the main file. Said instructions can be found in the main file.

Big thank you for all the downloads and endorsements, and I'm happy to see people can make use of it!
