Does it work with JohnP's Alternate MEHEM?

It does not. Only a tweak to MEHEM.

Hello, i want to ask what are differences with this MOD vs JohnP? Its better to install that mod insted of JohnP for better compatibility with CEM?

Good question. I'd say this is basically MEHEM with a few tweaks is all. Check out on youtube a video of MEHEM and one for JAM, although JAM has two versions. However, to avoid spoilers, know that MEHEM takes a more modded approach whereas JAM is much closer to the original endings, but still gives Shep and everyone a better chance to live.

Any mod, MEHEM, modded MEHEM, JAM vA or vB, will work with CEM. If using JAM vA you have to have a high enough EMS and choose Destroy.

Yup. Current version is for v5 of MEHEM. Works fine with Extended Anderson convo.

Can you make one that works with V0.5?

I think so; I kind of forgot about this mod. Not sure when but I suppose before Andromeda comes out would be a good idea if I can pull it off.

Thank you! I love all the other changes in MEHEM, but the rescue scene and music change are a little... off.

So - is this working with another language version?
I'm playing the game on german. Would I be able to see the ending in my language or will I have english subtitles or (even worse) spoken language?

It is not working with anything other than English I think. My version only tweaks MEHEM slightly and does not include a tlk or afc file for spoken dialogue to make the changes. If someone were willing to contact Fob and offer to translate for German that would be great. I'm a monolingual American so it's not something you would want me to do. However, I think the best we can do is German subtitles on English voices.

Yes there was already a partial german translation but it wasn't complete. Fob wanted to make a guide for translators anyway. That would be very nice since I'm a translator and would be willing to do the job if noone else would do. But I must know what to do.

Fob's pretty busy but from what I know and what WarrantyVoider confirmed, it's basically editing the German tlk file. The fun part is, trying to find all the entries that Fob changed to save you time AND hope that the numbers match up between the tlk files. But, if they do match up it's fairly straight forward if we can easily figure out which lines to change without putting in too much effort.

I'm on vacation for a while so I won't be much help but check over on the MEHEM thread to see if any decent info comes forward soon since I posted the question.

Thanks for your help. But well - it looks like MrFob is on vacation as well.
Now - I'll be here if there is anything new. Will track your mod as well as MEHEM and the Bioware forum.
Some day MEHEM will be multilingual

What files do I need to install if I only want to replace the music?

      SO I installed only

      BioSnd_End002.pcc
      DLC_CON_END_SFX.afc

into the DLC_CON_END Default.sfar, and I received this error when ME3Explorer tried to save the edit.

You did what I would have suggested. You'll have an odd bit of silence during the rescue scene but other than that it should work.

Now, I'm also seeing your post below with the error. I actually have no idea why replacing those two files would cause it to give an error like that. Your default.sfar is still intact; in other words, you haven't used 1108w to explode the default.sfar correct?

Nope, no exploding. I read that should be done after installing content mods.

Hmmm. You may have to get things back in order. Uninstall MEHEM (if you used the installer) and the old repair of the Extended Cut DLC and, if you have it, Leviathan DLC. Then get MEHEM back on and then this mod. EDIT: You're only replacing the sound files so never mind about Leviathan.

I can't imagine why but if you're using 1108w you could try 1107k. In fact, you could try 1107k before starting over to see if it works.

OK, I just want to make sure of one thing:

If I have the "Anderson Extended Death Scene" mod, I just need to install your BioSnd_End002.pcc (version 1.1) file overtop of the one from that mod, correct?

I'm rebuilding my MEHEM right now, since when I last finished the game after putting both of these mods in I got no music during Admiral Hackett's Epilog and the Credits...

Yup, you got it. That should do it. I didn't think you had to run the DLC TOCbin Updater but maybe that is necessary to get this to work. Let me know how it goes since no music during the epilogue and credits is kind of a killer.

Yep. The big reason I installed this was to get Das Malefitz back

Heh. Yeah, I liked that song. I liked what Fob had done but since I was changing the music anyway I figured this might work well. Also, I'm happy to have the song "end" by taking the pre-credits music when Joker and 2 crew mates come out of the Normandy on the jungle planet and moving that to the end of the song in the credits.

ME1 (Faunts - M4 part II) , ME3 (Faunts - Das Malefitz), and Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines (Lacuna Coil - Swamped) are the three games I actually let the credits run all the way to the end...

I believe this mod would be the icing on the cake with MEHEM.
I tried it out, but freezes right after I shoot Illusive Man. MEHEM alone works fine, though.

I have Leviathan and followed your instructions.
If you could be bothered by this, do you have any idea about what could be causing it?

    Thanks!!

Did you run the DLC TOCbin updater in me3explorer? That's my first guess for the lock-up.

      That was it, solved!

Sorry, it seems I didn't know how to follow your instructions after all.
Was a noob mistake, I installed the mods manually with DLC explorer (instead of me3explorer).
Only now I figured they are 2 different programs.

      Hey, thank you very much

It's "only a game", yes, but it's a great experience, and this polishing of MEHEM is very welcome.
Well, I'm off to install your other ME3 mod, Citadel Epilogue.

You and Mr Fob are giving proper closure to many Mass Effect players.

      Thanks again!

    @votemarvel
Absolutely. I should have pointed that out. Replace only the BioD_End002_400Guardian.pcc file in the appropriate Default.sfar and that's it; do not replace the BioSnd_End002.pcc or DLC_CON_END_SFX.afc files. The only problem will be the original music will continue into the rescue music unless your computer can load the next bit very quickly.

Great mod but is it possible to keep the original mods music but your ability to skip the rescue scene?
