Could you port this mod to ME:LE as the new mod that restores this final dialog with Anderson by beccatoria, doesn't have any of the improvements you made, so the whole scene feels wrong now on ME:LE

So I can't convince/provoke the Illusive Man if I use this mod? A lot of people are saying the game crashes if you do.

Is there any way to let the paragon/renegade scene with TIM play out but not have the game crash?

Asking because while I love Anderson, The Illusive Man is also one of my favourite characters (I know, unpopular opinion) and I feel that final talk with him really caps off his character arc in a nice way.
So I'd love it if I could see both my favs get a conclusive ending rather than having to pick between which one to give a better closure.

The issue is caused by ALOT corrupting the file BioD_End002_500Choice.pcc, you can replace this file with the original included in the mod that has the issue and it'll work no problem. It shouldn't be this mod causing it though, since it doesn't include this file, in my case it was caused by THANEMod but perhaps another file was corrupted for people saying removing this mod fixed it for them, I'm not really sure.

Check the ME3Log.txt file in the folder where MassEffect3.exe is located (requires the ASI logger mod) for details, but it's easily fixed so it shouldn't keep you from using this mod.

Thank you! I was having this problem with ALOT, MEHEM & this Mod and grabbing the BioD_End002_500Choice.pcc file from the DLC_CON_END folder and copying it into the main cookedpcconsole as well as the one in the MEHEM DLC folder fixed this. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

So... is this still an issue? Or has it been fixed? I'd assume that it hasn't been fixed and you'd still have to use the original BioD_End002_500Choice.pcc.

Hello there. I got a problem related to BioD_End002_500Choice.pcc file last night. Game crushes after IM shots himself in the last conversation with him. I found in ALOT's Nexus site a patch that fixes a lot of incompatibilities regarding mods that affect the outcome of the game and ALOT. There're two BioD_End002_500Choice.pcc files which you should replace in the indicated folders. It helped me, hope it works for you too!

A question from someone who hasn't played the ME trilogy yet: Is all the new dialogue restored from cut content? Meaning, there is A. no silent dialogue and B. no fan made dialogue in this mod?

If yes, are there any other ending mods where this is also the case?
CEM and JAM maybe? I know normal MEHEM isn't and EGM apparently neither. Back Off seems to only re-arrange or restore cut dialogue.
Would be nice if someone can point out some of the polished (lighter) ending mods which fit well with the main game quality.
I don't care about game changing mods, as long as they're good and the quality doesn't stray from the vanilla content.

    Thanks :)

      Yes, it's only restored dialogue.
CEM just rearranges/cuts some lines so the Citadel DLC can be played as an epilogue, so yes, it's exclusively original dialogue as well.
For JAM, I am 99.9% sure that this is also the case.
MEHEM has fan made dialogue and sub par cutscenes so I would avoid that if you wanna stick to high quality content.
For EGM I am not so sure. If you don't use any of the optional add on packs, I think, it doesn't have any fan made dialogue or weird cutscenes.

I am pretty much in the same boat as I am planning to play ME3 for the first time and I'm not a fan of fan made dialogue or sub par cut scenes. But I read a lot about all the mentioned mods and watched some cutscenes (or rather skipped through them to avoid too much spoilers), so I think I know which ones to get and which not.

In addition to Extended Final Anderson Conversation, JAM and CEM (be aware of the JAM to CEM transition), there is also BackOff which overhauls some lines for flirting, so you can't accidentally flirt on people. This is also done exclusively by rearraning existing dialogue and is compatible with aforementioned mods.

As for me, I will also use EGM, as I am pretty sure it hasn't fan made dialogue. The only issue is with the newly (ME2) added squad mates as they don't have lines. So they are just mute when you take them on missions. This is why I would stand away from all the optional stuff as these allow you to take the new squatmates with you and adds new missions for them. Don't install them and you are left with just a few missions, I guess, where you can still take them with you if I understood it correctly. And don't use them for these.

Tali Romance mod seems to be fine, as it adds new cutscenes and uses already existing lines.

And that's it for the content mods. You probably already know about the basic mods that are pretty much mandatory for an overhauled ME3 experience but in case you don't:
ME3 Recalibrated - it's basically a big patch, that fixes a lot of stuff
ALOT - overhaules a lot of textures
Ottemis mods - in addition to alot I would pick some (or just install all) Ottemis textures as they cover more textures
ALOV - Updates every single muddy cutscene. Use the 4K version if your CPU is strong enough. I already used it for ME2 and it looks absolutely crisp.

These are the most important ones. I hope this doesn't come too late, but anyway, have fun playing!

HOLY s#*! THIS IS HILARIOUS. I completely forgot about asking this question and just wanted to help this dude. To clarify, I am not schizophrenic, but maybe it'll help someone who reads this and wants to know about high quality mods, so I will just leave it.

Okay, so I've run into a very bizarre issue with this mod. The final persuade options for the Illusive Man conversation (where you can either convince him to shoot himself or chastise him for failing humanity) are available regardless of any previous choices.

They are only supposed to be available if you've used every persuade option on TIM throughout the game. I was doing an experimental speedrun playthrough (to test out the effects of several different mods) in which I did not use any of the persuade options. When I get to the final conversation, all of the persuade options are greyed out EXCEPT for the ones at the end of the conversation. I can confirm this is caused by this mod, as I went through the scene after uninstalling it and saw that the final persuade options were greyed out as they should be in that scenario.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there any way to fix it? I love the extended Anderson conversation, but I don't like the idea of being able to use the final persuade options even if I haven't used any of the previous ones. Just seems really cheap to me.

yeah it's intentional that the mod disables the limit on those options

Okay, but...why? I see no point in disabling that limit other than making it ridiculously easy to talk down the Illusive Man which, again, I find extremely cheap. I shouldn't be able to do that if I don't meet the required conditions.

Besides, it's not like you need the persuade options to see the extended conversation. You can just choose one of the regular options and take the Renegade interrupt to stop TIM from shooting Anderson.

I really hope this is addressed and fixed at some point. I'd rather not use the mod if it removes the limit on the persuade options.

This seems like such a completely unnecessary point to be hung up upon. Just don't use the options if you don't want to use them.
I highly doubt that a mod that hasn't been worked upon for several years will be revisited to address such a completely miniscule thing (I don't even want to call it a bug or a problem, because it really is NOTHING).

Unfortunately I've tested both this mod, and the authors other awesome mod for the me3 ending. And they don't work in the Legendary Edition. The game ran perfectly fine, but the ending was unchanged.

What's different between PEOM and Take Earth Back? I'm unable to decide, as I'm having trouble finding the differences between the two. Don't take offense.

So, apparently this is the same mod that is shown in this video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgIlCpOXuW0
Except for me the refusal ending theme doesn't play and Anderson's "Hmmm?" overlaps with Shepard's "Hey Anderson". Also, the "I'm Proud of You" them restarts for a moment at the end of the scene.

Could someone explain to me how to use ME3Explorer to use the music fix?

I've used ME3Explorer for a few other things, but always with clear instructions and I'm afraid I'll mess something up. I also can't seem to find the mentioned dlc editor tool?

Hi all, it said the mod was installed however there's no folder present anywhere so I don't know if it has been installed or not.
