About this mod

A mod that tremendously increases the abilities of the Sentinel's Tech Armor, such that it can be considered mostly unbalanced.
Modifes the Sentinel's PCC file to do this.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod modifies (whoda guessed) the Tech Armor for the Sentinel, to make it far more durable and overall, probably overpowered.

Changes are as follows:

Percentage Shield increase (per level) goes from:
25%, 50%, 75%, 75% (100% with Power Armor upgrade)

To

50%, 100%, 150%, 200% (300% with Power Armor upgrade)

Explosion Radius increase (again, per level) goes from:
7.5m, 10m, 12.5m, 12.5m (18m with Assault Armor upgrade)

To

17.5m, 25m, 32.5m, 40m (50m with Assault Armor upgrade)

Explosion Damage is decreased overall (by around two thirds of the original) until the Assault Armor upgrade, where it becomes a Sherperd-centred tactical nuke that deals 250 damage instead of the original 100. All enemies in range of the blast will stagger - it is now meant to create breathing room rather than cause damage in all except the fully upgraded case.

The visual wave you see when your armor breaks now better reflects the actual range of the blast.

The Power Armor upgrade also now provides 100% shield restoration after being destroyed, to enforce your nigh indestructibility.

HOW TO INSTALL:

Using ME3Tweaks mod manager, drag and drop the RAR archive into the mod manager, press Import Mod, and it will do the rest of the work for you. Press Apply Mod to...uh, apply the mod. Afterward, you can use the Manage Target menu to delete it if you do not like the changes.

Using anything else - I am not liable for the mod not working. I recommend you use the Mod Manager for safety purposes, as it allows you to remove the mod afterward if something does not work or is not what you desire without having to backup the specific PCC file for the Sentinel and replace it manually.

You CAN manually place the SFXCharacterClass_Sentinel.pcc file directly into your Cooked PC folder inside the BioGame directory found where you installed Mass Effect 2 - theoretically. This does work FOR ME, but I reccomend you find the original and make a backup of it just in case.

ME3Tweaks Mod Manager can be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/mods/373

Despite the name, it works for all three Mass Effect original trilogy games, and the Legendary edition. I personally vouch for the usefulness and functionality of the software - I couldn't be making this mod or distributing it without it and the tools it provides.

How can I do something like this?

This is what I followed to learn how to modify my Infiltrator class to have Tech Armor, Incendiary Ammo, Charge and also Armor instead of Shields: https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/477

If you're open to experiment and undergo some trial and error, you can make your own mods, just like this one. Go ham! Just remember to BACK UP THE PCC FILES! The game WILL NOT WORK if you manage to break a class - it will crash when you try to load a save with that class on, so keep a working one handy just in case.

OPTIONAL FILE:

I have created a Sentinel Class with Armor instead of Shield - what does this do exactly? Not much, except make your Shield bar yellow, mitigate some damage taken (maybe), and just make you feel cooler. I just always wanted to have a class with Armor on, and I don't know why it has never been done in a mod before, so, I decided to make one.

If the idea is liked, I can make an Armored version of every class. I can also set it so that the Armor does not regenerate without the use of Tech Armor, Barrier, or Fortification, although this makes gameplay understandably harder.

COMPATABILITY NOTES:

Any other mods that use the Sentinel's PCC file will OVERWRITE or be OVERWRITTEN by this mod. I have NOT TESTED what happens in these scenarios extensively, so feel free to tell me what happens, just don't expect any bright ideas if you break something.
