About this mod

Removes the squad mate face icons from the HUD display in combat and HUB worlds. Icons will only display if a character has fallen and requires healing.

INTRODUCTION

Simple mod that removes the squadmate face icons from the HUD during combat and on HUB worlds. When a character falls, their faded icon will appear to show that they require healing. There are multiple files included depending on what you have installed:

Main Files

  1. All DLC file - Install only if you have Kasumi, Zaeed, and Lair of the Shadow Broker DLC.
  2. No DLC file - Install if you have none or only some of the DLC listed above.

Optional Files

  1. Kasumi file - Install with No DLC file if you have the Kasumi DLC.
  2. Zaeed file - Install with the No DLC file if you have the Zaeed DLC.
  3. LotSB file - Install with the No DLC file if you have the LotSB DLC.

The three optional files will work with each other and the No DLC mod. You can mix and match based on what you have install. The All DLC file is all-inclusive, so if installed, you do not need to install the others.


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Install using Mass Effect Modder. If you are using other mods, the install order should be as follows:

  1. Mods that affect the game files or gameplay (Mass Effect Controller, No Mini Games, Vignette Remover, etc.)
  2. ALOT
  3. No Squadmate Icons in HUD

When you are ready to install this mod, follow the below instructions:

  1. Extract the files you want to use from the .zip download.
  2. Run MassEffectModder.exe as administrator.
  3. Click on the blue Standard Mode button in the bottom right corner.
  4. Select Mass Effect 2 > Texture Manager.
  5. Click on MODs > Load MODs and select which MEM files you extracted from the .zip.
  6. Right click the loaded MODs and hit Apply Mods.
  7. Wait until "MODs applied." appears in the lower left corner of the program window.
