For anyone having a problem with the error "The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Windows\SYSTEM32\d3d11.ddl", deleting/renaming the dxgi.dll from this Overhaul gets rid of the error. Deleting that file still has an effect on the game, but I'm not sure if it is having the intended effect by mod author.
The error seems to stem from an nVidia driver update sometime in around 2015, making SweetFX cease to function properly on dx9 games.
i got the same issue. last time i got this mod it was using an AMD GPU on a windows 7 system, now i got a GTX with windows 10. deleting everything about this mod fixes the issue, the folder, every file you copy to the game folder. i liked this mod, it gave a great atmosphere... CoffeeAddictUK, is there a way to get this mod to work properly again? or am i going to have to play vanila?
This is absolutely wonderful. I can actually see what I'm doing. No stupid fog. Unfortunately my computer does not like it (crap graphics card) and shuts off after a few minutes. When I get my new computer however, I will play all the way through with crystal clear graphics. Thank you.
there's a Skyrim SweetFX preset that included the injector, so it's a standalone mod, it also had preset only for those with SweetFX... but seeing as I do not know what to do with SweetFX, and would rather not learn even more complicated stuff to mess up my favorite games...
IS there any way you can make this a standalone file? injector included, to where it just works when you download it into the game folder? no if's ands or buts about it?
Hey, there. Sorry it took so long fir you to get a response. If you haven't been answered already, what you need to do is download the file, then open its "readme" file, which will give you the installation instructions. Basically, you just take every file in the folder you downloaded, and paste them into the games directory, which is where its executable is. The easiest way to find the directory is to right click on the game's icon, click on properties, choose the general tab, and the directory location will be under "Location."

EDIT: I managed to fix this by renaming the dxgi.dll file to d3d11.dll

How do I install? Could you add it in the Description or just write it here please?
