Hello, first of all, MEUITM is amazing, thanks for that!
But I am at a loss here, I've exported this tpf to replace other textures. mailny that of scorpion armor as I could't stand the camo. The replacing works fine, both male and female. But for some reason the n7 logo and red stripes are missing even on shepard and even though all rest of the texture works perfectly. Both diff and spwr stacks were replaced. Do you by any chance know why and how? It seems imposible as the texture has those elements.
Yeah this is an engine thing. The N7 logo is tied to the mesh of the N7 armor, so it will only show it if you use that mesh and only on Shepard. Again because the mesh is coded to Shepard. You can see this in the beginning of the game on the first planet your whole squad is in N7 armor but only Shepard has the logo and stripe.
I think a work around might be to tell the game to use the n7 mesh when choosing the scorpion armor. I am not sure hoe to do this but a tool like this https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect/mods/97 may be able to swap the meshes via a simple reference hack in the.ini files.
For example I have used the above mod to swap Shepard for Saren etc...so theoretically this could work and give you the stats of whatever armor you are replacing while using the N7 mesh.
Hello, Can i install this mod without having any other? im trying to install this one and it keeps telling me that the mod in not compatible with Mass Effect 1
It is a modded version of ME3 face yes, from and old version of MEUITM. I ultimately decided it didn't fit in ME1 because it's aged and worn, and and just made more sense for ME3. So it is not in MEUITM for that reason.
Easy enough to port directly from ME3 into your own ME1 game though using MEM.
Thanks for your reply, I really want Sheploo face to be consistent in three games. There are mods make Liara's appearance never change but i can't find such mod for Shepard. So the texture can be port to ME2 too? I guess it's time to do it myself.
Yes very easy, but not a true "mod" that someone should publish, because it's just a port. Usually direct ports, especially when taking straight assets from one game to another are banned on mod sites.
But super easy to do across all three games with MEM.
