I really liked this one for a bit, but eventually, whenever Tali was on the screen, a window would pop up stating there was a rendering thread exception which resulted in the game crashing. I tried to figure the problem, but unfortunately I'm not savy enough with this sort of thing to find the issue, let alone resolve it. I only have two other mods installed, Saren stages and the Onyx armor tweak, neither of which should impact this one.
No idea what the problem is, but if someone has a fix, let me know, because I'd love to play with it installed.
Update: I played around a little bit, and the game crashes less when I lower the texture settings. High is alright, Medium might be optimum (but yuck!), but Ultra High seems to be out of the question. Will try a playthrough again and see what happens.
Hi, you can install the mod when you want as long as you didin't installed Alot before. If your game is an a totally vanilla ME the mod will works immediatly when you will load any savegame of your playthrough.
In case your game crash at launch just after installing this DLC, just follow the instructions of the installation process in the description.
Hello! Thank you so much for such a Tali Zorah. I play with your mod with English voiceover and Russian subtitles. Noticed that some dialogs and captions in the dialogue ring suddenly became in English. Please tell me how I can independently translate these dialogues and captions into my native Russian? Do I need a special program? Thank you in advance for the answer and have a nice day!
Hi I would like to help you but I don't really know where the dialogs are stored in the packages of the Russian version of Mass Effect. It would take several tests to find the source of the problem.
In your place I would try to download the complete manual installation of Tali Remastered instead of using the DLC version.
Once the package is downloaded I would delete the following files BEFORE copying the folder into your game:
Delete the [Dialog] folder located at ...Bioware\CookedPC\Packages Maybe the translation problems come from this place.
Otherwise I would also delete:
- [Startup_Int.upk] - [Startup_EN.upk] - [Startup_IT.upk] - [Startup_DE.upk] They are located in the following directory: ...Bioware\CookedPC\
[EntryMenu.sfm] ......Bioware\CookedPC\Maps
Delete the [GUI] folder located at ...Bioware\CookedPC\\Packages (this folder contains only codex images)
None of the files mentioned above contain 3d models of tali Remastered. Once after deleting all this I will paste the folder in your game.
If you have already installed the game with the "Full manual Installation" version, you have overwritten your original files.
You will therefore have to reinstall the game and make sure that the files mentioned above are not copied into your game when you paste the package.
If ever the advice I gave you does not help the situation, I apologize in advance.
PS manual installation should only be done if you use Tali Remastered alone (without adding other mods after)
If you are using the DLC version, you can try deleting all the files mentioned above, but I don't know what will happen. (I would end up trying to delete the [Dialog] folder from the DLC only if deleting the other files did nothing)
Hello again! I installed the mod by "ME3Tweaks Mod Manager" version 8.0.1.127. (Absolutely do not know how to edit it mods users. I only load mods into the library and install them). Later from your modification DLC_MOD_TaliMasterME1 manually delete the DSG folders located in ICE, JUG, NOR and STA. However, I am currently playing with Ashley and Liara. As soon as I start a new playthrough with Tali, I'll write here about the results of the test.
When you delete the Maps folder, the Russian subtitles come back. And the files "BIOA_*_DSG.SFM" whether so necessary for the mod? Surely there is only the dialog lines. I hope these files do not affect the 3D-face model of Tali Zorah?
I had hoped that the Maps subfolders contained only dialog strings, but that was not the case. After removing them, the 3D model of the Tali character is now completely black. Apparently, there's nothing you can do about it. I'll play as is. Thank you for trying to help me.
Thank you for your feedback. If you delete the entire [MAPS] folder, you will also lose Tali's model when she is on the Normandy. The [Package] folder controls Tali during missions, while the "MAPS" folder is dedicated to other sequences where she appears.
Unfortunately, if the problems come from the entire [MAPS] folder, there may not be a solution to remedy them, and you may have some poorly translated sentences. It's possible that this DLC works better on the Legendary Edition.
I think you may have no problems with the mod for ME2 and ME3 on the Russian version. In the meantime, I hope you won't experience too much inconvenience in ME1, and I wish you a lot of fun.
I no longer play the original Mass Effect 1 since the Legendary Edition released, but I'm glad to see that there are still mods being released on here. Not often, but there is still the occasional great release.

Any suggest for that problem?
