Unfortunately, this just wont work for me. Whenever I try and launch the game it says there was a problem with entry menu. Every other mod allows me to launch. Ive tried it alone too, still no launch. Wish it could work ;_;
Would but Ive kinda just given up on modding ME1. I have the Press Start bug so i cant even play, if the problem still persists in ME2, i'll definitely get back to ya. Love your work btw lol
Hi, yes, I wanted to know how to do this for shepard by default, I just don't know how to make mods, so I was wondering if you could help me with this, i.e. make a mod
If you want to edit default Maleshep in the first game you would need to edit dozens of files because for some reason his head model is present in almost every level and loaded from there. So you would need to edit half of the game files just to change one single model.
Quick question: I know ECC is done for 1 and 2, and the plan is for ECC in 3 as well. Once that's completed, will a customized Shepard from 1 be viable in both the following games? That is, if I use ECC in 1, do I need to do save editing in 2 and 3 to keep the same Shepard--without any graphical issues--or will the texture filenames carry over properly? Provided ECC is used in the entire trilogy, that is.
ME3 version is ready and will be uploaded as soon as possible. Some customized things are tranfer correctly already, even without ECC installed. But keep in mind that ME3 CC is very different from the other two and I was forced to make some changes like reduse some NPC's complexions and rework the ones that remain. This means that if you use them you have to tweak your character in CC to reapply them.
Sadly, I just can't get it to work with the controller mod. If this is installed first the extra options don't show up- if the controller mod is installed first, the controller can't be used. And I also have the issue others seem to have, of the added options looking... wrong, the makeup being pixelly and untextured, and the hair looking like tinfoil. Unfortunately I have to play with controller, so... I guess I'll have to have my Shep look slightly different between games, because the Andromeda texture is great and I'm looking forward to playing 2/3 with it at least.
Sadly I coudn't find a way to fix it. All I can suggest to you is to create your Shepard on vanilla game with regular ECC mod, then delete the ECC, install controller mod and any texture mods you like.
Wait, would that work? If I made her have the custom hair colour and Andromeda facial texture, those would be remembered even if I remove ECC? Because if so, I'll most definitely give that a go!
It DID work! Thank you so much. Once I get somewhere in the game with better lighting I'll try to remember to take some screenshots. Thank you for the help, I appreciate it!
Not only did it work fine but the options went across to ME2 perfectly as well- even the Andromeda texture! I was expecting to have to rebuild her and then edit the save for the texture, but nope. All of her ECC features just transferred cleanly.
Definitely worth it, thank you again for the help!
Not sure if I messed up the installation of this mod or another but I figured I'd ask. I'm using this mod + A LoT/MEUITM + ACT and when I get to the character builder I caught a glimpse of this guy. Is this one of the complexions from this mod?
I installed ECC before texture mods, maybe A lot installer failed to modify these? Or do you think something else entirely is happening? I'll ask around, I know it can be weird troubleshooting something like this lol.
There's nothing wrong with this texture. It is a NPC complexion (Shepard's I guess) and it wasn't designed to match vanilla scalp's it only matches with the scalp texture that contains scalp texture for this NPC. If you want to use it you should choose "hair" that would match this complexion.
I have to thank you for making this mod... now all my Shepards can use their own unique textures that I custom-made for them (or your Andromeda mod) throughout the entire trilogy, instead of having to share textures with the NPCs in the game.
Hi, I love this mod and thank you so much for your hard work! However, I seem to be having a problem with the controller version. When I installed this mod (non-controller version) followed by a texture mod (I just used ALOT and ALOV as a test) everything worked fine, however when I installed the controller mod and controller version followed by ALOT and ALOV, the textures started to look weird. Here's what I mean: https://imgur.com/a/HQrZ8s2 (I hope that works, I've never used imgur before). Am I doing something wrong or is there a step I'm missing? Sorry to bother you with this.
Edit: Forgot to mention that it works fine until I add a texture mod.
I too, experience this issue, using the controller mod with the controller mod version and texture mods (Alot, Alov, MEUITM). Some of the hair colors do not appear correctly either on some of the hair styles. The hair looks overly bright, like it's super shiny, and the reflection washes out any color. Other than that, this is a really good mod. I have my shep running around with the beret and she looks awesome.
Also have this same issue, it definitely continues to persist in-game too, at least when going as far as gaining control of Shepard for the first time in the cockpit. I'm using the same setup as the other posters with the exception that I'm also using the Improved Bun Textures mod. Those textures (seem to) look fine, however the actual bun part of the hair remains noticeably lighter in colour and (sort of?) glowy, as seen here: https://i.imgur.com/XE9vaTI.jpg , similar to how other hairs looked in the CC.
Yes, I meant to include that it does persist in game with my original post and forgot. If you need any other testing, let me know, I'd be more than happy to do it.

Is there anything I might've done wrong when installing or something that I missed?

Thanks for the response!
