Hey everyone. One issue I've seen reported is crashing with messages similar to "Rendering thread exception: attempting to load unused mip #0 for texture......." followed by some other details that reference items not changed by my mod. In my previous testing with my mod and version 9 of ALOT I did not run into any such issues. I have recently started a new playthrough using ALOT 10.1 and my mod. I have seen an increase in crashes, particularly when choosing the "Investigate" branch in certain conversations. None of the crashes I've had reference the updated textures.

The crashing seems to be caused not by any mods, but permissions in Windows 10. Changing the masseffect.exe compatibility mode to Windows 7 and running the game as administrator has stopped the game from crashing on me.

Please try this if your game is crashing.

Hey everyone. With the announcement of 21:9 and controller support for the upcoming Mass Effect Legendary release, this mod will become much less relevant. I'll be leaving the mod up for download. But between the announcement of full 21:9 + controller support and the continued long hours required for my job, the current version will most likely be the final one and I'll be less active supporting it.

I appreciate all of the feedback and support everyone has given during my work on this project.

    Hello Cupelix2

Im so gratefull fot your work an want to thank you for all the comunity work you do responding to all of the people even if often its the same problem.
I don't know if i did something wrong but i followed all the instructions found on nexusmods and red almost all the posts and saw many people with the same problem as me.

The game runns at 2560x1080 but the top and the bottom of the screen are cropped. In the inventory menu i can barely see show or hide helmet and i cant select anything but the first soldier in the party because the bottom is cropped away. I tried with an without ME1 Recalibrated and the correspondig patch of yours and ran it with and whtouth flawless widescreen with the recommended settings of yours and i experimented with some other settings to. Sreen detection override is deactivated. I tried once to activate it but to no awail. The conversation options are also cropped away because the bottom is missing.

I tried many hours now and at last i must give up and play 1920x1080 becaus i cant see all the interfaces otherwise.

Do you have any advice? I even tried to edit the config file and writre something like 2560x1280 as resolution but of course it did not work.

Any other mods installed? The only way I know of that this happens is if there's a mod conflict or installation issue. If you installed with ME Mod Manager that could be why. I haven't yet adapted the mod to support that installation method. If that's the case, try the manual steps of copying the MEU mod files into your game's installation folder and see if that fixes the issue.

Otherwise, the best thing I can suggest to try is doing a clean install of the game, then adding MEU by itself using the documented manual installation steps. If the GUI is corrected, the problem lies elsewhere and you'll want to check any other mods you have to see if any change the same files.

I had such a bug with the Russian localization installed over a Steam version. With the original version it works like a charm.

How well would this work for 24:10 (3840x1600) aspect ratio?  Would it work at all?

Does this only work for the original ME1? I want to use it with ME3 but it doesn't use CookedPC but CookedPCConsole and such.

Mods are completely game specific. On the other hand: https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect3/mods/782

This fix breaks character eyes for me when I try to apply it with following mod list. Player and npc characters eyes turn invisible in cut scenes, character sheet and menus and in some camera angles.

    https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffect/mods/234

Already tried with both MEUITM eye options. What could cause this?

It appears things might be okay for me, but I CANNOT get out of the main menu because everything is not on screen :(

    Any suggestions?

EDIT:  I found a workaround by changing to 16:9 as 1440x to get through the main menu and Shep customization.  Then, once complete, I change it to 2560.

... Though, it would be nice to not have to do that every time... if someone knows what I can do to fix this, it would be great! :)

Well well well, so called 21:9 support in MELE is allegedly no better than your mods.
I'd recommend to get back into the OG scene for veterans ^^

    Hello,
ive tried to get this mod to work,
but when i activate in Flawless Widescreen the Option [HUD scaling], targeting triangles are way to far to the right.
If i deactivate [HUD Scaling] it looks good, but i cant see the [Default] or [Apply] Buttons, neighter some top and bottom information in the inventory screen.

Im using the Origin Triology, first activated "Faster Elevator", then "ME1 Recalibrated" and after that the UltraWide + Patch.
    Also tried a clean installation.

Do you have any Display Detection Override settings configured in Flawless Widescreen?

Yes, but it only take effect if i actived [HUD Scaling], otherwise it has no affect. (Also tried it without Override Desplay Detection)

      C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Config is missing?

It's there for me and my game is through Origin. If you don't see it, it might not show up until the game has been run once or you run the Mass Effect Configuration tool. Try running the game and changing some settings, then close out and see if the folder appears.

I am currently having an issue with the screen stretching and the panels being pushed off to the left of the screen. I use flawless widescreen and have a 49", 32:9, 5120x1440 resolution monitor and I know that is quite alot for the mod to maybe handle but I am just wondering if anyone else has tried it as well and found a solution or has any advice. Thank You!

I also have a 32:9 49" and am going to try it out...  I'll report back a little later with results.

Sadly, I couldn't get this to work correctly on my 32:9 display.  It did however work great when I lowered the resolution to 21:9 in windowed mode - so there's that.
