I'm not sure how right now, my guess is that it is part of the emissive textures, which the current SpiderTex tool can't convert to a png. If I ever figure it out, I'll add a no glow.
I've swung and missed trying to figure it out as well, but if you are able to do it, I will be all over it, and kick you something for the effort! Removing the glow from this suit and the Iron Spider Armor has been number one on my to do list since this magic bagan!
I never liked this suit originally as it didn't resembled how it looked in the movies in terms of coloring. The blue parts were to bright and had a rough look with the scrapes on it. Marvel's Avengers by comparison had a more accurate suit which was annoying as I wanted that to be in Marvel's Spider-Man.
So having this mod that fixes the suit and make it look accurate to the movies is great. It still has the scrapes, which I'm not a big fan off. But they aren't really visible anymore thanks to the much darker color.
