I tried to start SpiderManTextureTool.exe, but it doesn't start, not even for a moment looking from the process in task manager, I also tried to remove the "read-only" attribute from the folder where I extracted the content, as well as start as administrator...I also re-read on github in case I missed something, but nothing. also I already own .net 6 (v6.0.1)any suggestions??? could it be a bug?
since rawtex is responsible for the conversion, I tried to take the .textures individually, and it converts to .dds (format which I prefer as opposed to the one which converts to .png saying goodbye to values like the alpha channel).
I go to edit the .dds but I find the texture that is not with its aspect ratio (which is normally of the type 256x256, 512x512 etc.) also entirely pixelated, and an error warning "DDSD_linearsize is incorrectly not set for DDPF_FOURCC"(i never see it before)...
I think using rawtex in this way forces the format to BC7 (with which I have never had problems) having read that some are good only with BC1 and BC5...
I hope this can help, and that maybe the tool can work, or if someone could help make it work, because otherwise, as I said before, this tool is useless as it is now, and it's really sad
always good to see another tool released, is there a way I can learn how to tell what format a texture uses?. I know the standard, but there's certain ones that use like bc4 or r8b8b8b8 or whatever, but I dont know how to tell when to use those without randomly trying them all.

Can you point the exact textures that use BC4 or r8b8b8b8?
Thank you!
