JoeMama, your suit-making and design sense are excellent, but your common body type is a problem. In particular, it's a pity that Gigachad's square jaw doesn't go well with Spider-Man. It would look better if only the chin was sharpened. Are there any plans to make an Insomniac Spider-Man style body shape or a normal sleek Spider-Man costume mod? Your Spider-Man, with his strong jaw and muscles, is also very unique, but I'd love to see him in general too. :)

The body type may be a problem for you. But for me as the creator, I think it looks nice :). No shade, we’re all entitled to our preferences and I respect yours truly, But I must also respectfully disagree on it not going well with Spider-Man. Spider-Man has had so many different body types over the last 60 some odd years, ranging from scrawny and thin, to stocky and muscle-bound. Look him up on Marvel vs Capcom infinite, or Ultimate Alliance 1. He was pretty big. Same thing with the Jaw on MUA1 and even Tobey with his face shell gave off a very defined jaw. I like those interpretations for my idealized version of the character. Now I’ll admit it doesn’t go well with insomniac’s version of Spider-Man, but that wasn’t at all what I was going for. The realistic modders would probably serve you much better in that regard, but I don’t necessarily see the point in making my own model for SM just to look like insomniacs when I could just use insomniacs and throw a costume on it. My goal here was to take the drawings in my sketchbook of Spider-Man and bring them to life in all their exaggerated glory. (body wise not suit wise). Now to answer your question, I’m not ruling out doing a smaller more traditional body type in the future, hell I can almost guarantee it’ll happen at SOME point. But I make it a point of artistic integrity to follow my creative heart when it comes to making these as I’m doing them for fun first and foremost and also for free. That doesn’t mean I don’t value everyone’s feedback, but I think there should be a balance between what I want and what you guys want. Sorry for the essay. Thank you for the support. I’m cooking up something big next.

It's become your signature style at this point, man. And that's ok, considering that mods in here can make the bosses more imposing. It's good to have modders that can do the same for Spiderman.

damn these are good, but the huge package makes me question if spider with all his strength could still swing with that thing between his legs.

Your distinctive chin will suit Agent Venom, Agent Anti-Venom, Toxin, and Dark Spider-Man. Your Agent Venom suit mod is awaited. Can I look forward to it?

I'm very excited to see you continue posting and you're clearly quite talented, but my personal two cents is I would reconsider the jawline for some suits that are based on a more classic Spider-Man look.

I don't know why exactly you're so adamant about such a pronounced jawline and I completely respect it as personal preference, but it stands out so much that it distorts the mask aesthetic IMO. A big part of Spider-Man's cool factor (for me at least) are the big, prominent eyes on some suits, and this choice makes them look like Supaidaman with the small squinty eyes, simply because his face is so huge and creates a lot of empty space. I think your current physique model is great and very comic book-esque, but a narrower jaw with a defined chin would complement it better.

you worded it way better than I could lol. (I also mentioned this on the nanosuit concept) I especially think it's weird that the jawline is this pronounced on a suit that's based on spectacular spidey.

It was done deliberately and is just their style right now. Also saying "Idk why ur so adamant" and then saying you respect it right after is crazy lol. Could've worded it much better.

Calling his jawline goofy and weird isn't criticism it's just your preference. Suit modders don't make their suits for your tastes lol.

'Adamant'? What if I just like the way it looks, man? I spend a lot of time on these and I enjoy what i've created. And the other modders seem to dig what im doing. I don't know why exactly you're so adamant that I make my mod how you want me to. The head and jaw is based on comic illustrations of the character as i've said. In those illustrations, he has exaggerated proportions sometimes, including around his cranium and jaw area. I like s#*! like that so that's what I went for and I personally think I did a good job, you may feel otherwise and that's cool, my mods aren't gonna be everyone's thing and i'm okay with that. He's big and stocky, so he has a big stocky head. As I said, with every mod I make, I make changes and tweaks to the models to fit my vision for the mod. Your cool factor for spiderman is big eyes, awesome. Mine are big and small eyes, I like the squinty and the giant. And that Supaidaman comparison is an omega level reach, the eyes are not even in the ballpark of that small or thin, but we can agree to disagree on that. Look at the end of the day, I appreciate your feedback and support, and I can guarantee you I will continue to work on the models and make changes as I see fit and continue pushing toward that happy medium you two are aching for, but I can't guarantee I'm gonna meet your standards of what Spider-Man looks like because we may just think about him a little differently. If my mods aint doing it for you, that's totally fine, join the community and blow my mods out of the water.

Gotta be honest, that was a huge overreaction to what I perceive to be pretty constructive criticism that I worded very nicely, never making it seem like it was anything other than my opinion. Someone even agreed with it. Maybe you should try to deal with people who have dissenting views in a healthier way.

I didn't call anything goofy or weird as the other guy mentioned, and I used the term "adamant" because I read the comments on your mods and the jawline gets mentioned quite often, so yeah, you're literally "adamant" about staying with it. I've tried to encourage you from the start and even added screenshots for your mods — you were needlessly rude and defensive. And don't worry; never once did I think you somehow modified his head so much in any way that wasn't completely deliberate, lmao. Should've ended it at "agree to disagree."

I didn't bring up you saying anything was goofy or weird that was someone else, and im pretty sure taht someone else wasnt talking to you but the other guy. And I don't think I was rude, I explained my philosophy behind why I chose the design i did. In fact ive modified that jaw literally every mod i've done. Maybe you didn't notice cuz the change wasn't significant enough for you. I'm not attacking you with anything i'm saying, Tone isn't conveyed thru text, the sentence you typed came off as rude to me but at no point did I say your way of looking at it was wrong or inferior, I just highlighted that there are clearly differences between our views of him. and wym end at agree to disagree? I literally said I appreciated your feedback and I would keep working on it, what else do you want?

You saw rudeness where it wasn't intended, ignored the compliments and reacted accordingly. Just let it be and good luck with your mods.

You def ignored the thanks in my response and my literal pledge to try and make it better but you're right. And its not really fair to say I dont do well with dissenting opinion, you criticized the torso a while back and I agreed with you on that. but nonetheless, apologies for the course of the conversation, it shouldn't happen this way. Have a good one.
