Notes regarding TENACIOUS - Underdodge Melee Replacement v4.0: This Mod Replaces the Melee Attack after Dodging Under the Legs, or Jump Dodging above the head of a Thug to that of Miles' CATCH PUNCH Finisher for CLOSE Melee, and Peter's ROLLKICK Finisher for FAR Melee attack. This gives the illusion of having a Counter Mechanic similar to the Arkham Games.
Be Aware that the Anim takes long to play and can't be cancelled so you can't dodge from getting punch by other Thugs or shot at with Guns and Rocket Launchers. Sadly it's just a gimmick.
Combat is great but some attacks leave you expose for attacks without the ability to dodge if there are future updates i would not want to take damage that i could've dodged
I'm gonna try to explain it in a more simplified manner here, I'm on pad.
It is the same as doing a Web Swing but you should only press forward/towards the enemy when you press attack, (not before as this seems to cancel it out).
So... (be very close to an enemy if you aren't using WebStrike) Web Strike (Y), Jump (A), Press toward enemy and Attack ^+(X).
For some reason doing it without the WebStrike seems a lot harder (timing) and for me the slow-mo seems to go on a lot longer (too long, might be a bug in my game).
Have you changed the timing on Web Swing as well, because even the timing on that now seems more difficult to do.
I'm not complaining BTW I love what you've done with the mod (I really like your basic combo's, instead of always starting a combo with the 2 leg kicks).
Waouw insane job out here, the amount of modules is immense. I started getting into the mods myself to tweak things even more and get everything exactly the way I liked it but I can’t find the asset for what you called « Scorpion Kick ». I went through pretty much the entire combat kick asset from the game and even some from the miles morales game and couldn’t find it. Could you give us the reference of the asset for this specific animation please ? Thanks for everything anyways.
I'm not surprise you couldn't find it. The exclusive Combo that Peter uses against Scorpion is hidden in Scorpions npc asset. iirc just search "scorpion" and filter "safe" and it should show the comboender anim.
Thanks man, you saved hours of searching. Do you have any way to look at most animation files without needing to creates mods and launch the game ? That animation script doesn't work anymore ...
None. It's mostly done by trial and error. There is the old Menu Mod that lets you view Animations but you need to downgrade the game to be able to use it.
is it possible to replace the left air dodge with the spin web trick? i really like 1.3 air dodges and ground dodges just don't like the left air dodge if its not too much to ask.
