Great mod. Love the model, big spidey is best spidey. His huge stature is awesome. The texture work is really something. I love the subtle little details on it. Like how there's colour contrasts between the black and the soft grey and the lines that act as seams that connect the two parts of the suit together.
However, there is one big problem that honestly kind of kills the mod for me. Which really sucks because this might be one of the best I've seen, if not the best.
There's something going on with the colour saturation on this mod. When playing during the day the suit, the colours mainly, seem especially muted. The spider symbol on his chest for example looks really off. It doesn't pop like I expected a Symbiote suit to do. I did some testing and it seems like I was right. The suit works well enough during night time but it's during the day and dusk that it falls apart.
When I apply lighting effects to the suit in photo mode, it absolutely shines (no pun intended). It feels like that's how the suit was meant to look.
When I turn off the lighting effects, it unfortunately doesn't look as good. Spider-Man 1994 Symbiote (without lighting effects) It ends up looking really bland, muted and sort of boring. All the details disappear and the logo looks like those cheap, plasticy reflective bands that you put on you when you go running.
Is there any chance of tweaking the mod so that it looks like the spidey in the picture with the lighting effects? Right now, it honestly looks broken. I don't mean to sound rude or disrespectful. Like I said, it's one of the best, if not the best mod on here. But the caveat is as long as the colours are changed a bit. Maybe I'm the crazy one? Am I the only one with this problem? Ignore me then. Love the mod but the colour saturation imbalance bugs me so much (again, pun not intended) that I'll have to uninstall it. If there's ever an update, I'll be the first one to download the new version!
Hello. Great mod. The suit perfectly conveys the massiveness and strength of the spider in this suit. Could you make a mod for Venom from the 1994 cartoon in the same style as this costume?
is it possible to make an addition sooner than a replacement? for the new slot or at least put a choice for the download because I have already replaced the classic suit with something else
I like this mod a lot as much as the 90's series! ^_^ Once the mod has been fixed, would you like to released it also as a suit slot of it's own? Please :D
Was just gonna say that while I think the body does look good, I don't think the head fits the neck, whenever doing poses, like the charged jump, that messes with the neck in any way, you can see through parts of the neck, it's very noticeable. I also think the black suit is too dark in-game and it looks odd. Can't wait for future updates with this mod, especially bug fixes and potential retextures.
