Hey there. I apologize if this is a dumb question but I want to ask whether this recolour applies also for
Spoiler:
Show
the battle-damaged variation of the Anti-Ock suit and for the Aunt-May-dying cutscene both seen at the end of the main campaign?
Update: I did a test myself, and I can confirm that the recolour does apply for the damaged anti-Ock suit cutscene at the end, but NOT for the Aunt-May-dying cutscene, at least not completely. There are shots at that cutscene where Peter's suit is black and red, but there are also shots where the suit's upper part suddenly turns to the vanilla colour, giving an immersion-breaking look where the suit's lower part is black and red while his upper body's coloured the vanilla way.
So this is compatible with the black spider, yes? Because I really like red and black. If not, I'll just get the black spider mod. I don't like the white spider and can live with red and blue if I have to.
Hi guys, I new to this scene and this is gonna be the first mod for the game. Can anyone be kind enough to tell me if I can play the main campaign mode with this, I've read that some mods requires 100% completion or some save files and I'm only on Act 2 of the story. Thank you!! btw how long does the modding tool usually takes for the game to be modable?
sorry im late. you can install 99.9% of this game's mods at any point during the story. i don't really understand what you mean by "how long does the modding tool usually takes for the game to be modable?" but if you're asking how long it takes to install the mods using the mod manager, not long at all. just add the mod's SMPCMOD file into the mod manager, tick the checkbox, hit install, and when it's done you can play the game with the mod.
? I created this suit icon for the mod that I use personally. Please feel free to add it to your mod for a future update! For anyone that wants to use this themselves, using the mod tool go to g00s000\ui\character and extract the texture file for the desired suit. Then rename the image to the same name as the extracted texture. Make sure the image and the texture are saved in the same folder and drag the image onto the Spider Tex exe and this will convert the image to a usable texture. You can then use that texture to create a mod which overwrites the suit icon image with your custom one.
stopped working after the patch today, not sure how to fix or what to do since im quite new to modding but if someone could break it down for me that wold be v appreciated
