About this mod

Removes many card mods from the card mod pool and evens out the chances across all four ranks. Includes two optional downloads that have more expansive card mod pools.

Permissions and credits
DETAILS:

  • The card mod pool of Bad Mods Be Gone is based on Channel5 Gaming's playstyle and mod recommendations. There are two optional downloads to choose from if you have a different playstyle.

  • Installing this mod mid-playthrough won't affect the card mods (hidden or otherwise) that have already been 'saved' in your game. You'll likely have to roll past these before you see the card mod pool from Bad Mods Be Gone. After that, you'll only see card mods from the Bad Mods Be Gone pool.

  • Card mod chances are as evened out as they could be across all ranks. There's a lot of Single Target Rank 2 card mods, even in the main Bad Mods Be Gone file, so it may take some rolling to get what you want, but it'd still be faster than with the default game's odds. Also please remember that RNG will be RNG.

OPTIONAL DOWNLOADS:

  • Bad Mods Be Gone Lite_Keep All Uniques: This version removes redundant, low-level mods and keeps each unique mod in the pool.

  • Bad Mods Be Gone Lite_Remove On Redraw and Conditional Damage Mods: This version removes redundant, low level mods + on redraw mods and mods like 'Increased Damage to Damaged Targets'.

To uninstall, delete pakchunk999-BelinnBadModsBeGone_P.pak from the same folder.

Overhauls

Anti-Grind
  • C.H.E.E.S.E. Room - Lets heroes grind champion levels in the T.H.R.E.A.T. Room at a rate of 1 level per card use.
  • Long Distance Friendship - Heroes gain friendship with Hunter even when Hunter isn't in the squad.

Pets
  • Super Charlie - Buffs Charlie's upgraded cards and gives her max secondary stats.
  • Pet the Dog - Petting Charlie rewards gloss, essences, and credits. Charlie will gain 1 friendship level per pet.
  • Where's Ebony - Reveals Ebony's location on the map without requiring Hunter to find her first.
  • Pet the Cat - Petting Ebony rewards intel and a legendary combat bonus for Hunter.
