Hey the mod in original Swedish is kinda buggy with only the 2099 skin? I'm not sure why but I even had a friend get the mod aswell and it would just make the default sfx sounds except for the Ice and for the Ult it overlaps two parts of the song together than goes to the default Ult song :(
Known issue! Like most skins that come with different sounds in the game, the 2099 skin has different sound ID's, so it requires digging through hundreds of sounds to find the separate ID's, which can be rather time consuming. I documented the bug when the skin came out, and it's present on all of the versions (Swedish, English etc.) due to the sound ID's. Unsure when I can get to it, but I am aware! ^^
I thought I had already sent a reply earlier apologies. I do have an older version of the mod that actually does change the ultimate music for her 2099 skin if you would like to take a look at it and see if it helps. I would do it myself but I don't really know how to mod lol.
I noticed that afterwards too! They must've changed the reload SFX ID at some point, strangely. I'll document it as a bug and get to fixing it when I'm able.
How to fix after latest update: 1. Go to your "MarvelRivals\MarvelGame\Marvel\Content\Paks" folder 2. Rename "Patch_-Windows_1.1.1599834_P.pak" file by removing "_P" part so it's just "Patch_-Windows_1.1.1599834.pak" because "_P" part makes it override some mods (you can try renaming other one as well but I guess it's only this one) 3. You're good to go
I think you do need to rename both files, as in my case not doing so wouldn't let me launch my game. However besides that, your fix worked great thanks!
can i still use this mod now? because in my Paks files there is no file with the name "Patch_-Windows_1.1.1599834_P.pak" . i am very confused i followed the instructions on youtube but it does not work in the game. i play the game on steam
Hey kiendz6mui! The fix suggested by this user was posted on February 6th, which was also during Season 1.0; it's now Season 1.5 and at the time of posting this comment, mods do not work. As detailed in the main mod page info, mod compatibility is subject to change with new patches, and there's a huge notice you might have glossed over. Hope this helps. :P
I don't own the skin so I haven't gotten to test it myself, although it looks like the new skin comes with a lot of new SFX/Music! New skin SFX would mean that any pre-existing Luna mods won't replace the sounds since they're completely different files/IDs and it'd take a large portion of time to find the associated files and replace them as well, assuming they're accessible like the base sounds are.
Potentially! It depends on time and availability, since I work a bunch and have a couple other projects I manage. Additionally, keeping mod compatibility in mind over the course of new patches, but we'll see! :P
