I don't know if you're still active on here, but everything works except carrying more weapons. I can still only carry 1 primary and 1 secondary. Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks, but unfortunately as Zdrojewski mentioned, the changes this mod do somehow edit your storyline savegame permanently, and even if you backup the original file or use another you'll still be able to carry as many weapons as you could after you made changes for the 1st time. Since Freeride and "Replay Chapter" doesn't have any kind of savegames, this problem doesn't affect these two. So the only one way to change everything back or use another version of this mod is to start a new game.
Hmm, it doesn't work. I'm still able to have three handguns and two big guns. I checked the human2config file and it has the same code/edits as you posted above.
There is probably a better way. Here is how I did it. Unpack ingames.sds using Greavesy's toolkit. After unpacking, open "human2config.xml" file and change the line 1730 to <targetVehicleMaxDistance value="0" /> After editing, use the toolkit again to pack the extracted files.
Yes! I'm with ubilamda below me, and that shouldn't be hard to do, tho I want the inverse (more weapons, but keep car auto-aim). I could probably do either myself if you could pls tell us which file or files within the ingame.sds you edited, and how exactly you changed those files (like which line, etc.)
This would be really useful for me - and others, I'm positive - because then I could combine multiple modded ingame.sds files by only moving edited files to avoid unnecessarily overwriting different components with ingame.sds.
The game and hud were programmed so that players can carry only two weapons. By enabling more weapons, you will experience some hud glitches when you switch weapons (ex wrong weapon or ammo displayed). To fix that would require modifying the gfx hud files.

I backed up my ingame.sds file and override Your file with backup but I still can carry 5 weapons.
Anny suggestions?
You should not experience this problem. My recommendation would be to verify the integrity of game files if you are using Steam.

If you want to mod yourself follow the steps:
Unpack ingames.sds using Greavesy's toolkit. After unpacking, you should find "human2config.xml" in config folder. Open the file and change these lines to :
<playerinventory>
<slot type="EMPTY" unlocked="1" />
<slot type="PL_EXPL" unlocked="0" />
<slot type="WEP" unlocked="1" />
<slot type="WEP" unlocked="1" />
<slot type="WEP" unlocked="0" />
<slot type="BIG" unlocked="1" />
<slot type="BIG" unlocked="0" />
<slot type="MELEE" unlocked="1" />
<slot type="GRND" unlocked="1" />
<slot type="MOLOTOV" unlocked="1" />
<slot type="VOODOO" unlocked="0" />
<slot type="PROX_MINE" unlocked="0" />
<slot type="SNIPER" unlocked="0" />
<slot type="THROWING_KNIFE" unlocked="0" />
<slot type="COIN" unlocked="0" />
</playerinventory>
After editing, use the toolkit again to pack the extracted files.
