RenoDX addon has to be downloaded separately in the Files tab, and extracted in game's folder. It doesn't require any shaders or other addon in ReShade installer, just ReShade itself (with full add-on support).
You can also find instructions (and addons for more games) here if needed.
After I installed this addon, the game will no longer center on my screen when windowed fullscreen is on. Removing this addon fixes it but now the game breaks when I try to change between windowed and fullscreen modes.
And what I mean by it doesn't center is the game window is halfway off my screen, so I can only see half the game window. None of the keyboard shortcuts I would use to fix the issue work for some reason either.
Oi, Game does weird things with fullscreen mode, I am not sure it has to do with ReShade or the addon. I suggest giving Swapchain Tweaks addon a try, it is available in optional files here. If I recall correctly this helped a similar case a couple months ago.
Else I can find several topics about this behaviour (here for example). Disabling fullscreen optimization for game's .exe seems to be a possible workaround.
Hope this helps, lemme know if none of these work.
This is a stunning mod. I am playing through for first time, and came back to this on my LG C1. The vanilla game has absolutely horrid levels, and I was really starting to get annoyed by it. This fixes everything and then some. Hardly any tweaking needed except to get the right brightness for my TV. Brilliant stuff. Turns the game into what it should be. Thank you very much.
ReShade with full add-on support is one of both available ReShade "versions", the other one can't load RenoDX or any add-on.
"It uses the Reshade Add-on API to hook into the game, NOT RESHADE EFFECTS." does not say it's not ReShade... ReShade usual effects are applied on top of the whole game, like an overlay: they affect UI and work off a limited SDR picture, since this game has no HDR support on PC. This also goes for AutoHDR, RTX HDR, inverse tonemapping...
This addon instead directly modifies game's code to recover HDR picture before it's clamped to SDR (the highlights details seen in comparison pictures). Game's resources and some of its post-processing effects are also upgraded to allow the output of HDR picture.
oh that sound better than regular reshade actually. im still using an old reshade installer from like a year ago that i keep on my desktop to add to games. i never heard of renoDX so i just thought it was still reshade effects, i should have just read the bottom of the page lol
