It would been completed, but since they made the Trilogy remaster patch for this game, i can't play this game anymore. I have huge graphical issues and they don't fix them.
Yeah, I've heard there were issues with the remasters. In all the screens I saw the graphics for the original Mafia 2 looked better than the "upgrade". I didn't have any troubles with three though, what exactly got messed up?
Well it looks like the game is now running in low LOD level mode with a mix of wrong rendering or something. Shaders look weird. Blurry smudged textures everywhere. Vehicle meshes look weird. Particle textures such as night stars look like white rectangles and so on.
The first Mafia game got a remake not a remaster and it is 100X better than the original but yeah the Mafia 2 "Upgrade" was pretty bad in some places such as stuff flickering didn't have a problem in the Mafia 1 Remake which again the Mafia 1 Definitive edition is a remake and is amazingly well done don't know why they didn't give Mafia 2 the same treatment it would've been amazing instead we got a terrible remaster big yikes honestly
That's a shame, I'm one of the few that actually really liked 3 and was getting ready to do a full run of the series. I'll have to poke around the net and see if anyone bothered to patch any of this mess.
This is a really great mod; I didn't expect the developers to give the cars such detailed interiors since you never really get close enough to actually see the dashboard. Thanks to this mod, driving in Mafia 3 is at least one hundred times more fun! :D
Nice mod, but is it possible to fix so you don't see the characters head/hair/mustache in som cars when the character is leaning forward and so? (im using the "Driver side vehicle camera [with lookback camera]" version)
It's mentioned in the known issues, this is because the 3D model of the character is still in the car, normal first person in games just removed your model or the models head or makes it transparent but I am guessing that is either impossible or requires a lot of work, I remember GTA V first person literally deletes your head and your shadow doesnt even show a head lol.
You can use the other version that isnt driver side to avoid this issue for now, for me its not much of a sacrifice as I hate over car view and hood cameras more than I hate the odd moustache or eye balls in my face.
