What people seem to be complaining about is the clipping. One way you could fix this is by including an optional add-on for the mod which replaces all of Lincoln's models with headless models - then there'd be no clipping.
I really want to enjoy this mod, but without an invisible or headless playermodel, the clipping is just too intrusive. I'd endorse this mod if you included this addition in the next update.
I would have already done this if there would be a tool to edit models. But the community abandoned this game. I have no access to that. It might be only possible by some crazy trickery. But at the moment i am not sure how to adress this sadly. The same goes for a scripting approach. I couldn't find any native that would allow me to hide the player. The camera system of this game only allowes to hide the entire player, which i could do, but isn't what is really enjoyable.
Hiding the entire player would still be a better alternative to clipping, to some people. Perhaps you could release an update with the entire player invisible, as an optional addition?
Just forgot to mention, the player hiding would only work on Foot as far as i tested it. And you won't able to see your gun or anything since it's the entire player hidden.
i think i know what is possibly causing the bug, i see steam keeps in cloud certain configuration of the game, that means no matter if i reinstall the game to clean mods, some scripts and txt of the game is kinda moddified, maybe is that, how can i complete the whole saved info of my game? despite that it sucks because i have my custom controls configurated, i dont need a screenshot is what you cna imagine, in the first person hair eyes tongue and other elements appears on the screen, is like when you add a first person mod in a game but glasses of the characters appears in front of you. I dont want to reinstall the game, if a mod is so difficult to install or doesnt work i dont wanna try it again, games are for fun not for losing a whole day configurating a mod, bad experiences with gta v or bfv, ultra difficult games to mod, mafia 3 should have steam workshop
look this is what is happening https://youtu.be/b1nL2JCydWw and https://youtu.be/HOf-YCSQZmk same in the car with the head but also with the roof of the car and other elements, camera too high in the car
TABLES SDS REPLACED manual xlm (or how whatever they're call i dont remember) in the same folder too (i want to combine it with scripthook)
tried the same but only with tables sds without any mod and without xlm and in a new steam account with any cacle in the cloud reinstalling the game, and same
Please use a proper translator or at best ChatGPT if you struggle with english. I don't understand what you trying to say. You sentences doesn't make any sense. The mod doesn't need ScriptHook. If you have ScriptHook installed or not, it shouldn't matter. The mod isn't a script mod and thus doesn't need any ScriptHook to load the mod. And you supposed to merge XML files from the manual folder with your other already modded SDS file into one modded SDS file using the SDS editor tool for Mafia 3. You don't have single files in the game folder. Just one SDS file where you import any changes and save it. The tables.SDS file is like an archive, like ZIP or RAR where you have a lot of game files in it. Somewhere in this file are camera related settings that the mod changes.
If you use other mods that make changes to the tables.sds files, you have to extract the modded files from that SDS in order to import into the other same modded SDS file from a different mod in order to merge both into one modded SDS file. This First Person mod comes with a already modded SDS file but also alternatively the manual files for merging with other mods. So you would take the other modded tables.sds from mod XY or what ever you also trying to use and import/replace each XML file from that modded SDS file with the ones in the manual folder of this mod download provided. Then save the SDS file changes.
Also i don't understand your video links. The video clearly shows that the mod is working for you. The clipping issues as the mod description already told you, are part of the bug list. Please read the mod description carefully and make sure you followed everything accordingly. Also you can avoid clipping issues by wearing appropriate clothing on your character. There is no point for glasses any way when you are in first person all the time. Otherwise i can't help you in any way. Seriosuly i have the feeling communicating with a bot. Your sentences makes no sense to me. You should be more clear on what you actually do, so people from outside of your PC can understand what is going on with your system.
That's not what "doesn't work" means. Read the mod description, clipping is a known problem. The mod is as in the screenshots and the description. If you provide a unknown bug, please add information which option you choosed and what exactly you did. Additionally it would be helpful to provide screenshots or videos.
got it to work, dont know how but adding the .sds of the full version and then the .xlm files too in that folder and in the main game folder, both folders, but its kinda glitchy if you dont play with linconl clay model
You don't need to extract them. The Download file contains the already extracted files in a seperated folder so you can combine it with your other tables.sds mods
doesnt work, i dont know if its because i have other mods alredy installed as sccripthook but, where is supossed to be dragged the .xlm files? to combine withother mods??!! ...
if you cant combine this mod with scripthook, its suseful, and WHAT IS THE BUTTON to activate it
There isn't a lot in the tables.sds file to not see the files that are in the manual install option of the download. Just replace modded xml files in the camera sub folder of the SDS file with the original one. This mod doesn't require ScriptHook as it's not a script mod. The mod works, with or without ScriptHook. It doesn't matter.
