About this mod
This mod replaces "dead and boring" Thompson M1A1 with the stick mag (30 rounds) on the TRUE MAFIA-LIKE THOMPSON M1928 with the 100 round drum mag and vertical grip. Increased amount of the police (by 2 or 4 times) available in v. 1.1, SWAT officers 1.2, street gangs 1.3. For more details read the description.

The visual part and the animation the same as Thompson M1928 with drum mag on 50 rounds and vertical grip. The only difference - the mag capacity - now it's 100 rounds. But the icon in the weapon selection menu left from M1A1. I couldn't change it. I also couldn't make the mag on 100 rounds visually bigger. I'll try to fix it in the next updates but I can't promise any results because it's far from easy.
I made this mod because of the lacking a "true mobster atmosphere". Thompson M1A1 neither a gangster nor police weapon. It's a military weapon and not suits Mafia. When we think about the classic image of Mafia or cops of those times - it's mighty Thompson M1928 with drum mag (either 50 or 100 rounds) and vertical grip. More than this it's more realistic - cops almost never used Thompson M1A1. In the game itself we can watch the lack of an appearance of Thompson M1928, it's always in the shadow of M1A1 (might've been vice versa). Now with this mod we can truly plunge into the atmosphere of the 1940s and 50s. Now when you got a 4 stars wanted level cops are the formidable force to reckon with and you need to think twice before mess with the police. Have a fun with a Tommygun!
