Having same issue as a previous poster. Chapter 7 once driving graphics glich and game crashes. I have correctly done the patcher. I've redone it and made sure I am launching directly from the patched exe. I had thought maybe it was because I had used a previously made shortcut on my desktop but as it turns out this was not the case.Has anyone else had this issue or found a solution? I know you say it should work, but it clearly is having some type of issue that is not all on the 4G patcher being done incorrectly. Thanks for your time.
it didn't work on and i thought ok it just works for story but it doesnt look like it went on. i installed it correctly and idk no reshade mods works for my game. i just did exactly what the instructions said, is there something else to do that maybe isn't listed but was answered somewhere? ive seen some people not put an important step in because they assumed people knew already how lol
Hey I'm Running this with my Gtx 1050, Seems to be running quite well, My GPU has 2GB of VRAM will this be an issue, ive used the Patcher. but when using MSI After Burner the game uses about 1200- 1300 MB of VRAM, i'm at the starting area of the game.
im running the same kind of setup but its still crashes out on me :/ really good mod if you can help id appreciate it thanks. textures start to go mad before it crashes
yes the 4GB patch is installed to the Mafia 2.exe, it seem to want to crash at the start of each chapter, Im also running the HDR re shade and signs mod, when it wants to i get a solid 60 through the city and built up areas then other times near a crash the fps drops like a stone.
Hmm, that's super weird then, if the patch is installed you should be good to go, this mod doesn't enable or disable any settings, only replaces textures. Fps can and will drop if you're specs aren't to par, and there are definitely FPS drops in some of the houses, this seems like an unfixable issue tied to the vanilla game as even the base game has these drops.
Same thing happens to me. I just started Chapter 7 and when i start driving, it either crashes or it glitches and the textures are messed up. The game runs smooth for me even with this mod.
Again, the only reason it should be doing that is the 4gb patch not being installed correctly, I've tested the mod both patched and unpatched on GOG and Steam, without the 4gb patch it's a guaranteed CTD, however with my game remains stable
